Why do you smoke dmt?

What is your reasons/intensions for smoking dmt??

At first I used it because I wanted to see what it had to offer in regards to revealing other modes of consciousness. It worked incredibly well and instilled a sense of contentment within me I had waited for my entire life.

After that was over after a few years and I could vividly remember all of this in every single moment, now I use DMT for it's effects on my body and mind. It feels like very good medicine. Allows for meditative clarity and biological recalibration.

DMT has many uses/functions and it's up to the user to find what works best and why.

I want to say I use it for the insight and information it provides me, and that's true but I'd be lying if I said that was the my main reason.

The real reason I have for experimenting with it is because, whether I'm right or wrong, I'm convinced I come from 'there' and am destined to return 'there' after my death. It feels like going home after a really long, arduous journey. I don't have to try to explain to anyone what being homesick feels like, we've all experienced it at one point or another. To me, it's my ticket home, even if it's only for a brief period of time.

I'm kinda getting choked up just thinking about it. That's how important it is to me.

Exploration of consciousness/"hyperspace" is one of the main reasons why I vaporize it(or started to vaporize), but along the way it has given way more than "just" that.

After getting into it I was able to see all that it had to offer, and see that this is no "drug" it is a miracle. I stopped doing it for recreational reasons, and began doing it to find out who I am, and what exactly this thing we call life is. DMT has given me hope. It has given me purpose. It has given me life again.

Actually, salvinorin A is the most potent naturally occurring hallucinogen. A breakthrough dose is between 0.5mg and 1mg, making it roughly 50X more potent than DMT.

At first I was interested in spice as it seemed to be the pinnacle of the psychedelic experience (I suppose 5-meo, ibogaine and salvinorin-A are also up there). Being very interested in psychedelics it was a natural progression. I searched for many years and eventually got what I had been looking for for so long and a lot more.

Why though? Why would I want to get to any pinnacles of the psychedelic experience? I seem to be prone to needing to get outside of the boundaries of normal reality. Why that is I don’t know exactly, there is quite a compulsive draw for me though.

well for me I wanted to go to middle earth honestly:wink: that's why I tried psychedelics in the first place because if I can't go there physically why not go there in my head? I mean of course there were a plethora of other reasons for trying dmt but I have to say it was my interest in fantasy and sci-fi that led me to spice. Also the first thing I was told about dmt is that it's the neurotransmitter that causes dreaming, of course there is a lot of controversy about that idea but it still peaked my interest. well i still haven't met gandalf but what I did find was equally as interesting
