Why is DMT so rare in comparison to other psychedelics?

Yes, I mentioned both in my previous post, the supply chain/market and also (to me, above all) the specific effects of DMT, which I don't find that much suitable or enjoyable in festival/parties context
Yes, I agree with the rest, I just don't think the supply side is a main factor here, that's all.

I guess those who definitely fall in love with DMT will in a way or another find the path to extract it themself, while LSD lovers still will need to rely on brave and experienced chemists and buy it on the market.
I agree with this. Although as for any other psychedelic, most doses are going to be taken by people who are just curious to try it or use it in a casual and infrequent manner, as people who decide to use psychedelics in a more serious manner are a minority. That probably explains why those vapes seem to be commercially successful despite their many drawbacks.
 
I think people want to extract it themselves to control it. It's so straightforward to do it. And it's much less expensive than getting it from somebody.
