Why is there DMT crystals in my wine jug?

Last night after I mixed the naphtha with my black liquid, between the naphtha and the black liquid was a bunch of DMT crystals!!! the problem is that i cant get them out bcz they touch the black liquid... i tried to add some water and a little bit of naphtha but after 3 hours there was still crystals at the bottom of the naphtha. can someone tell me how to take them?

Somebody else will have to chime in, but I don't think it's possible for whatever that stuff is to be DMT crystals, as the spice doesn't crystalize out of the naphtha until you put it in the freezer.

it was in my basement and its a little cold, also i did not use warm water. i think it is because of that. i wanted to use distilled water and it was in the fridge. i was in a hurry

Haha, I stand corrected. Those are definitely crystals. You'll have to forgive me, where I live the temperature never gets cold enough for something like that to happen.

Extracting is part of the fun, why would you want to rush that?

Crystals can start precipitating before separating the layers if: A- Temperature drops and/or B- Some solvent evaporates.

Just separate the solvent layer and put that to freeze precipitate, leave the crystals in the main extration container, and just add the next warm pull (which should dissolve those crystals).

i had this problem once in my gurage last spring

i made a warm water bath ~150F (hot tap water)
put my jar in the bath for about 20 min
added more nap to the jar mixed well and pulled as usual

easy fix

Put the entire jug in hot water untill it get´s warm enough for the crystals to melt and then add warm naphta and mix it up.

This should make them go home

Hi everybody again! It seems like I have the same problem with my other batch! I hate that! does anyone knows a better trick? or is it normal or its reaslly just the tempereture?
