if its really only sodium hydroxide and sodium carbonate, SWIM cant see a problem with it. Just keep an eye on the pH more or less. Maybe some other member with more chemical knowledge or that knows this specific brand can give an input.
Did SWIY look the brand on google? Sometimes SWIM saw products that had ingredients that were not listed, but there was the info about it on the internet in some more detailed chemical analysis.
SWIM would advise against it. He tried using that kind of drain opener ( not the same brand ) when first trying to extract MHRB.
After 30h in the freezer the naphta wasn't even cloudy. He then decided to buy some lye ( little pearls ) and rebasified the whole solution and did a pull.
This time he had little crystals after less than 5h ^^
Most teks tell you to add 1g lye/gram of bark, and even if 1g= 1ml, that doesn't mean that the concentration of lye is going to be the same in 1ml as it is in 1g.
Plus there's often other chemicals involved ( SWIM's product was a greenish liquid ).
So SWIM's adivse would be to get some solid dry lye.
