Would this style of a vaporizer work?

Hello.

Would this kind of a vape work with DMT or should I construct some kind of a machine? The vape's got a temperature dial, but no markings so I actually don't know the exact temperature. My friend bought it a long time ago, but we stopped using it because it didn't work very well with weed.

BTW, it's gonna be my first time, what dosage do you guys suggest? I don't think I'm ready for a "breakthrough" yet, so I was thinking around 20-25mg.

Seems overly complicated, but it might work if you can figure out a way to measure the temperature. That said, you're better off going to the store and buying an "oil burner" glass bulb style pipe for $5. If it is at all possible, look I to the GVG. My understanding is that it operates in the same way as the "machine" but I don't have experience with the latter, so not sure.

It's just basically a hot nail with a rubber hose, btw. What temp should it preferably be?
