4-AcO-DMT/4-HO-MET Fumarate water solubility

Are there any methods for determining a chemical's solubility in water based on details about its chemical structure? Or is the only way to know from experimentation in attempting to mix it with water?

I'm specifically curious about 4-AcO-DMT fumarate and 4-HO-MET fumarate.

We’re now a week in, and so far, there’s no noticeable difference in color between the two tests. The amount used is very small, so it might be hard to spot any changes, but this gives me confidence that it’s not going to degrade too quickly. I’m hoping to have some free time in February to test it out with vaping. Until then, I’ll continue updating this post occasionally, and if the results are successful, I might create a separate thread for it.

I am excited for this, I have freebased it before and vaped it in a tiny amount and just the smell pulls me in.

So just another update, I have kept both samples in the dark at room temperature until now, so far there has been a slow change of color towards a slight yellow color, still very light. No noticeable change in smell or viscosity. In the meantime I have also mixed up some and the 50/50 mix VG and PG plus metocin, this is not changing color any faster.

Other than that I have also mixed miprocin (4-HO-MIPT) in PG, so far nothing special here since it’s only been a couple of days.

I just ordered a new tank for my vape and after a small break (I have been tripping allot lately) I will test out an mix of an 100mg in a milliliter of PG, and report back.
