5-MeO-DALT? Anyone try this?

I was doing some research and I came across several places selling 5-MeO-DALT. I've not heard of this before. It's apparently active orally in the range of 12-20 mg orally and lasts about 2-4 h. Onset is 15 minutes or so. It sounds interesting.

Does anyone know much about this molecule? What is the experience like? Is it worth getting for a try or is this stuff pretty much something to stay away from?
 
I've had friends that have tried it. Annoyingly i wasn't there at the time so didn't get any but it seems that at the low doses you mentioned it isn't very effective as a psychedelic but is active.

A friend took a dose of about .2 of a gram though but he said at that dose he was totally gone. Literally just had to sit/lay there and watch :p.

But he said it was a TRUE experience that he wouldn't take away for the world but he would rather of done maybe 100 if he tried it again. Just rang him just to ask him!
 
I will probably be getting a hold of some in the next week or so, will post an update.
There seems to be quite mixed reviews but I think it seems nice.

This seems to be popping up all over the RC market lately. Some reports ive read say its a tease. People also have been smoking it, and reporting better effects than oral dosages. Id say try it out, I recently found a domestic vendor that sells 500mg for $25 which is pretty damn cheap.
 
I once had a blotter that had SOME 5-MeO-compound in it. It was obviously not 5-MeO-DALT, since it looked like a normal blotter, but anyway...there seem to be many of these 5-MeO-'s that pop-up now and then. As far as i'm concerned; if you expect LSD, any 5-MeO-RC is a dissapointment.
Anyway, i don't know about this specific substance, but i have the impression that most 5-MeO-RC's are not thát great and that they all have this body-load and other unpleasant physical side-effects.
 
I've read it really lacks in the visual department, which is no surprise, 5-MeO-DMT does too.

Is it anything at all like 5-MeO-DMT?
 
See from what i gather from a friend he says its only lacking in the visual department at low doses.

People assume that because its 5-MEO doses should be low, otherwise it's not active. I see many reports of 40mg been "very little effects" or "no visuals" but at 200mg my friend said he was blown away and had full OEV's and an MDMA like buzz for a reasonable length of time. I've seen only 1 other report of some one having even above 100 mgs and thats on erowid.

That Erowid report doesn’t say anything about it being like 5-MeO-DMT. 5-MeO-DMT can be visual for some people if the dose is enough. I’m very curious if this is at all like 5-MeO-DMT. But that Erowid report doesn’t make it look like it’s similar. But it’s hard to say. It didn’t reference 5-MeO-DMT, and probably the user hasn’t tried it, or seems like the user would have compared it to it since they are similar molecules.
 
SWIM is more curious than anything else. I don't think he'll be buying any RCs any time soon.
 
The blotter i once had, that seemed to have SOME 5-MeO-thing in it, had some simmilarities with 5-MeO-DMT, but was different in some areas.

It was more visual, the visuals where more colourfull, there where no dark pale visions or visions at all, even and it was less alien.

For the rest it was exactly like 5-MeO-DMT; the same sort of body-feel, the way things looked, the tracers and whirls, the general 'vibration' of it, the atmosphere, the typical 5-MeO-DMT buzz where all present.

I think it must have been something like 5-MeO-AMT, or something close to it.

I didn't like it very much. It gave me a worn-out feeling, halfway, like having skipped a night sleeping. Another thing is that at the end, it made all music sound ugly.

There was something about it that just felt dirty.

But maybe 5-MeO-DALT is very different.
 
^sounds like DiPT from the way you describe the music sounding dirty..I never had DiPT though I cant say for sure..maybe it was 5meo DiPT, but I haveheard that its not like DiPT and that 5meo DiPT is a nice experience without the weird audio distortions of DiPT so I cant really say.

I remember Dennis Mckenn mentioning 5meo DALT is an interesting experience.
 
So I've had two tries with this compound and I definitely like but I it's very subtle.
I have only tried it at a 25mg range which is a small dose, first time the day after I took some
4-aco-dmt and the second time the day after some 4-ho-met so I would like to try it on
it's own someday (probably more useful information).
At the dosage I took the strenght of effects resembles that of a "small" (do we know it's small? 30 drops?
) dose of elemicin.
Small shift in consiousness, music sounded better and my mind thought "more psychedelic".
No real visuals but things floated more (things always kinda float around for me) when I focused on one spot and it was more "high definition". Music was definitely better then usual.
Will probably go 50mg next but I have some other stuff I want to try so this one is put on hold for a while.
 
A few months ago a friend ingested 150mg on 2 different occaisions and hardly felt a difference. SWIMs was not all too jolly, but was worth a test.
 
Ive tried this compound a few times its not that great in my opinion. probly my least favorite tryptamine ive tried. Its effects put you in a very weird mind state give you a somewhat uncomfortable body high and theres not really any visual activity except for everything looks brighter and fuzzy. In my opinion its a waste of time and money but if you are going to try it 100mg works pretty good.
 
If you do try this compound be careful doing it at high doses i have a friend who took 300mg and became completely delirious he thought he was going to die for about an hour then he would repeat the same words over and over again "take my hand" he would grab our hands or hug us and point at a light and say "come to outer space with me 3 2 1 atom bomb i don't have to do anything im shawn white into another dimension!" when we would try to communicate with him he wouldn't respond at all he kept proclaiming he was Jesus then he pissed his pants he stayed in this ridiculous state of mind for 5 hours and then finally snapped out of it
 
So far ILPT tried 20 and 40mg orally. 20 with no effects and after 40 he felt a bit odd, but not trippy.

Some parrots recomending doses between 100- 200 mgs orally and 25-50 mgs smoked.

ILPT would try that.
He also he may incorporate RIMAs and start to build up oral doses up from 5mgs accordingly.
 
ok i had the xtally white one - i ate 12mg didnt feel much then smoked 5mg - wow - then i finished it off by smoking 5mg at a time - i posted some reports on my site.
basically its like a dmt body buzz - major euphoria -and a strange feeling of tripping without the trip - i loved it and got a tolerance after 2 days. damnit - well i need more now!. :Þ
 
on smoking - 5mg made me buzz so hard the first time that i felt as if something bad would have happened to me if i had smoked 50mg like i read ppl do online.
eg - brain explode or something - caus thats what it felt like would happen.
