Sometimes, reading these forums, I’m intimidated. People here seem to know the names of so many different substances, combinations, and ways of doing things that I’ve never even heard of. Maybe I’m an amateur. Maybe I’m also just a little more reserved because I had a 10-year methamphetamine addiction. I’ve been sober from it for 3 1/2 years now, though.

That being said, I’m kind of picky about what I do these days. That isn’t a judgment on anybody else or how they choose to explore. For me personally, I’ve had to exercise some caution lest my life be ruined.

So I procured some new DMT from a reliable gray-market source. It came in a vape pen, which I prefer over a glass pipe because a glass pipe has so much connotation with speed for me, even though I was primarily an IV user. Still, I don’t need a glass pipe in my house just in case that urge ever popped back up. If you know, you know.

I read the instructions that came with it, which gave approximate dosage ranges based on the duration and number of hits.

There’s something about the breakthrough. That’s just what I seek. The communication that is there.

I’m in a new hotel room, and I mean I had barely walked in. There’s one of those messages on the TV screen where it shows a menu and you can press one or two to choose movies or whatever. But the room, as I remember it, was quiet.

So I took one long, 10-second inhalation, held it for two seconds, and released. Then I repeated that. Of course, near the end of this second inhalation I’m already starting to fade out. It gets tough to keep it going, but I pull through and finish the hit.

Immediately, I’m transported.

I’ve positioned myself so I can easily lie down on my back and close my eyes. There’s something I’ve found there before that was special to me.

The whole show begins.

It’s really hard to describe in words. Take that back. It’s impossible.

The immediate feeling is, Oh my God, I forgot this is what it is.

It’s overwhelming. It’s astonishing. It’s enrapturing.

A message is delivered to me, this time less through words and more like it is beamed directly into me, if that makes sense.

To be honest, I can’t really say I understand the specific message. I know it has to do with me being loved. That is such an overarching theme.

If you knew the colors that were shown to me, the ratios in which they were shown, and the way they were positioned, you would understand how I know this message was just for me.

And it was a message of love.

It was also a message of struggle. But life has always been a struggle. I think there was simply an acknowledgment of that, along with the reassurance that I’m on the right path.

But I can’t stress this enough:

THE MESSAGE IS LOVE.

It’s like meeting my intergalactic fan club. And they’re there fucking cheering me on. Maybe some of them have some critiques lol, but I do too, so we’re in the same boat.

But they want me to know that it’s ALL GOOD.

This is not the first time they’ve wanted me to know that it’s all good and that I’m loved. That was the message the last two times I did it. That was the message right before I went and bungee jumped and climbed the mountain last week.

And it’s still the message now.

There’s really too much to write about the visuals. I can’t say that there are specific entities I can pick out or anything like that. It’s more this overwhelming beauty of hyper-shaped structures churning with color that feels special and has specific meaning to me.

What’s weird is that the colors and shapes aren’t even what I go into the DMT experience curious about. I just go in one more time to be overwhelmed and reminded that I’m so small and that I know nothing.

Yet it shows me something so specific.

As it starts fading out, there’s a strange change in the color scheme, and you can tell something is happening. There’s almost a sense that they’re frustrated it’s ending, that our communication is ending.

And it frustrates me too.

Then comes the crazy part.

In the background, I start hearing music.

My body is still lying there on the bed. At some point it felt like it had melted somewhere else into the universe or something. But I’m there with my eyes closed, surrounded by this warm aurora of love. That’s what it is.

And in the background is this music:

“My dearest, my dearest of all darlings
I know, I know, I know, we’ve got to part…”

And literally the DMT trip is ending.

I’m honestly not sure whether the music is in my head or what. I just keep my eyes closed and vibe with it.

More of the lyrics:

“It really doesn't hurt me that bad, yeah
Because you're taking me with you
And I'm keeping you right here in my arms
It's all because I love you (I love you)
Ooh ooh and I love you (I love you)
And I love you too (And I love you)”

And it’s like they’re on repeat.

In fact, they are on repeat.

The TV has changed to some kind of audio station where it’s just this song, “Call Me” by Aretha Franklin, playing back to back to back, very softly, over and over.

Now, if I had put that song on before the trip, I could reasonably conclude that the feeling of love during the experience was influenced by the song.

But I didn’t put that song on. I hadn’t chosen it, queued it up, or even known it was going to play.

And that “I am loved” stuff? That has been the main message of all my trips.

And when I say main message, I mean MAIN MESSAGE.

As I sit here later today and voice-type this post, I have not a doubt in my mind that whatever I interacted with in the DMT space arranged it so they could communicate with me through that song being on at the end of my trip.

Maybe they put the song on outright? That’s wild to think.

Maybe it’s some deeper lining-up of the timeline or something. Honestly, I don’t even have the brainpower or physics knowledge to think about that.

I can tell you one thing for sure, though.

That message in that song was them speaking to me.

TO BE SO LOVED.

A little context for anyone reading: this was probably my seventh DMT experience. I haven’t written out every trip, but I do have notes and memories from a few earlier ones that I plan to post here retrospectively.

I’m only just joining the forum now because this experience has sparked a genuine interest in me, and because these experiences have had a very positive effect on my life. I’d like to start documenting them more deliberately, including some of the earlier ones after the fact.
