Has anyone ever had a dream about smoking DMT? I've been so excited and anxious about my first steps into hyperspace for the past couple weeks, that I suppose it isn't surprising... but it was so freakin' real. The following is my account:

I was finally doing it. The synthesis was over. I had made "the machine" and was sitting down in my room about to use it. The spice vaporized exactly how it was supposed to. The machine cooled the vapor so well and then it finally entered my lungs. The hit was perfect. I closed my eyes while still breathing in. Someone else was aware of my deed. He wasn't present in the room but he commented on my situation and I was aware.

Nothing yet. Keep filling those lungs. Its gonna happen soon! I thought. Hey, I've made it pretty far without launching.

Haha, so cocky. 3...2..1...aaand NOW, he thought.

My lungs are almo.... Something Snapped
What was that force.
NOISE - a ringing, thundering, a tone, medium-frequency
So loud! Overwhelming, but no pain. why isn't it hurting my ears? Ears? haha
Flying. Impossible speed. Noise is everywhere. Everything.
Not ready. This is too much
Visuals. Green hue. Green with some red/yellow in the middle. Crystle-like form.
It gets bigger.

...
...
the feeling fades...
...
I'm in bed?
....
wtf. WTF.
Open your eyes, dick.
Not yet.
Bet you wish you had a nightlight now, huh?
*sigh*

SO,
I really don't know what it was about, but it happened almost exactly at 3am, which isn't comforting. Not that I'm superstitious... but its just not a comforting coincidence. I can't believe how real it felt. Exactly and yet nothing like I imagined. How did just a dream overwhelm me, anyways? uuugh.

Haha, I kind of moved through the first paragraph a little too quickly(unintentional habit of mine), and thought this was an 'actual' blast off.

What is the significance of 3am?

3am is "the devil's hour" in all those haunting movies and some folklore.

Interesting. Good for you. Every time I take a psychedelic in a dream, it's bunk. Incredibly frustrating. One time, however, I dreamed of taking iboga (which I have never had IRL). That time, it was quite interesting, definitely psychedelic though completely unlike any traditional tryptamine. Very strange.

I am still trying to get my head around something that happened saturday night just gone.

I didn't attempt to go to sleep till about 2am. I was having a real tough time getting off, I remember I woke up for a period of time and just felt fully awake so was just lying there waiting to drop off again. Then I got a sensation, something flickered behind my closed eyes, I only caught a glimpse - it felt/looked like the distorted sine waves I see before entering hyperspace.

I thought nothing much of it, and then started thinking about something completely related. Just then another 'sensation', another tremble behind my eyes and then I was 4-dimensional with associated geometry for perhaps 20-30 seconds before my mind switched on and started to question what was going on.

I didn't panic one bit, I remember thinking that I knew I was awake, and how odd it was, but I really just wanted to sleep so set about drifitng off again and that was that.

The next day I was thinking about it a lot, and I can't decide if it was a dream or whether I was actually awake, because I have had episodes of sleep paralysis before whereby I could have sworn I was awake, so for all I know I could have been having a spot of SP, but I can't be sure.

I've had lots of dreams about taking DMT, more so the act of doing so rather than the experience in the 1st person. Not too long ago I was just stirring awake and again I had a brief 5 seconds of 4-dimensional geometry and thought "Yes! This is what DMT is like, I remember now!" but doing that broke the experience and I was awake.

Reminded me of Shulgins statement that it isn't the drug that causes the experience, it merely acts as a tool to access that state - so surely it must be possible in someway to trigger it naturally, perhaps for some people partaking of the spice might make the brain 'aware' of that frequency, so to speak, so as to allow them to tune in themselves.....perhaps, I don;t know, but it was certainly interesting given that I haven't touched the spice in months.

I once had a psychedelic/dream experience , well actually i think more then once but this one i remember in most detail,
in the dream i had taken some LSD tabs , and when i had open my eyes for brief periods of time and saw the walls pulsing and i was generally tripping.

I am still unsure whether i was dreaming of waking up and experiences those effects or it really happened.
