A Guide to DMT Enhanced Leaf (Changa)

Migrated topic.
Here a vendor is quoted as 50mgs for use of harmalas as "herbal incense." SWIM has off the top used 250mgs rue harmalas on 1g Caapi leaf and 1g DMT and was happy with that. 10x Caapi leaf is pretty popular, and the leaf seems to cap out around 1% harmalas. So that would give an estimate of 100mg's per gram of leaf.

What if I am only using rue harmalas though? Should I do 1:1:1? 450-500mg? Then how do i dose? I wish i had that thread that had all that broken down simply. This is all confusing.

Well I did some math that I suppose is wrong then.

I used 1g DMT, 450mg harmalas, and 1.1g plant matter. Should I add more plant matter then or??? How am I going to balance this out? I'd rather not blow my face off with this mix. Damn my impatience. There really should be a simple guide to this. If there is I can't find it.

I bet that this will be just fine. You're right though. Hopefully we'll get some more thoughts on this as well. I do not believe that you will blow your face off with this. What I would be expecting is a headache, if there's too many harmalas here.

Well that's good. I guess I'll weigh out 100mg and give it a test shot. The harmalas weren't dissolving In the naphtha when I left for school. I'll check when I'm done.

I find that 350mg harmalas to 1gram leaf and 1gram DMT works the best for me.

Morbiddoctor dude, no blowing of the head will go down(well maybe a bit:)) just be sure to start low, like always when testing out new batches. Now that those harmalas are in there you can gradually build up to where ever you want to be.

Remember that smoked harmalas go a long way.

I love the mix I made :) now I want to make another.

I would like to incorporate salvia into this mix. I have no experience with her however. Is This a bad idea? I want to make a 1:1 mix using her and calea. Maybe with some blue lotus and pau d'arco as well. What's a good ratio for these? Especially salvia.

Ended up making This first mix yesterday. Evaporating right now. Second mix is the first I made.

Electric Salvialantro

-1g DMT
-350mg rue alks
-200mg salvia leaf
-100mg pau d'arco
-415mg calea leaf
-300mg blue lotus 25x

Blue skullscrew

-1g DMT
-450mg rue alks
-1.1g mix of pau d'arco, mullein, blue lotus, passion flower

I get so tired of reading posts that focus on my doses for Changa I really do..
One thing that people need to be aware of is that plants are not chemical factories that produce specific measurable quantities of chemicals for us to make extractions of. For one the randomness of alkaloid content with these plants is high. You can make a ten times extract and still have absolutely no clue even close to the alkaloid content. Plants harvested at different times of day going right next to each other can give dramatically different contents, levels and even alkaloids at times. Regardless Changa does not need to be an exact science. It does not need to be ratios and mg doses in order to be effective... Feel it out! It's pretty forgiving and there is no magic number mg wise to reach some "break through veil" nonsense.

Changa is absolutely like surfing... Aproach it like you would surfing. If you have never surfed, imagine what surfing would be like, do some research on surfing. That research would better Prepairing you then trying to figure out how many mg of what is in what plant and what mg of what that is nessecary to go into your Changa. There's just little point in it... Changa at sub threshold doses has gotten people to realms unimaginable and string as he'll doses has gotten people no where...
It's surfing... Sometimes the smallest wave gives you the best ride, sometimes you wipeout... It's not science it's art...

Edited my post. I looked and looked for an answer, and it turns out it is on the page right before this one. I didn't have it in me to make it all the way to page 28.

Can I use Caapi Vines for Changa or is it recommended that I use leaves? Also, is it necessary to make 10x Caapi or will plain leaf/vine work fine?

Vine is just as good if not better than leaf if you are making menstruum to dissolve the DMT and then infuse the herb of choice.

However, I would recommend against using vine in the final smokeable product. It works, but is incredibly harsh.
And no, 10x is not necessary.

I guess I hadn't even though of making changa with a non caapi base. Using the menstruum I can just put it on whatever I want can't I?

I agree with this, i never even used a scale when making changa, i just take a bunch of dmt pour on some aceton and take a bunch of leaf and harmalas and mix...

If i´m not satisfied ill just add something untill i get what i´m looking for.

And it's just that easy. In the amazon they do not even know the alkaloid content of the plants they are brewing up and it seems tomwork pretty well for them!

Could a menstruum be made (using a suitable solvent) by just placing Caapi and Mimosa in the solvent and then evapping that onto a plant or would the resulting Changa be harsh to smoke due to the tannins in the Mimosa?
