I did ask this question in another thread but didn't get any answers. So if you try it can you please post back and let us know how
it works. 'Cause even if you don't feel any effects with catnip alone it can affect the DMT trip a lot.

Not so great, at least not the mini-batch I made.
It doesn't taste bad, but has none of the freshness of mint and barely any hint of lemon.
Smokes fine, just nothing special.

How it affects the trip.
Does it make it calmer? Does it ease the intense body buzz? What does it actually DO.

Well that's the question I was asking. I said even though catnip didn't do much for you by it self it COULD affect the DMT trip quite a lot. A lot of herbs don't have much effect by themselves but used with DMT they affect the trip.
 
has anyone ever tried mixing kief in their changa? or can you infuse kief with the spice? or just smoked rb and kief? just wondering if anyone's experienced with it. i only smoke the high dollar strains so the kief is superb! i can really feel just one strong hit of kief. any experiences/advice? thanks...
 
Yes, you can use kief in changa (ie some MAOI containing leaf as well) or you can just 'enhance' kief with DMT.I personally find it kind of muddies the mental clarity compared to changa preps without it.

Electric Sheep sounds really nice.....making some right now actually!:) I'm also thinking about making the Dream Scape blend (60% Calea, 40% Brugmansia flowers). But I'm a little reluctant to use Brugmansia so if any of you have experienced this blend feel free to put my mind at ease:wink:

Hey so I didn't want to start a new thread, but I have a changa question that I'm sure has been answered a million times....I just don't want to read through 28 pages haha.

I just recently made a batch of changa consisting of 1:1 0.7g of leaf with 0.7g of DMT. When I weighed it at the end, it only came out to 1.5g total. Where did I lose some DMT (presumably)?

Also in my shallow dish/jar there is this thin green, sticky residue left over. I've tried scraping it but it just spreads. Could this be some DMT goo? If so, how can recapture it?

0.7+0.7= 1.4, no? Your figures dont add up bro. Maybe your leaf is still a bit wet, hence the added weight, or possibly you added more leaf/spice? definately no loss there:)

The green goo left in the dish is most likely chlorophyl and maybe some spice, I usually take some of the changa or some bud and rub it in the bowl to collect the goo, then smoke it up:)
 
Well if you had 0.7g leaf and 0.7g DMT, and got 1.5g result, then that means there's something EXTRA in there as 0.7+0.7=1.4

On the green goo, I presume this may be something the solvent has pulled out of the leaf. It may also contain some DMT, so best to chop it up/spread it out with a razor blade, and put it back on. If it's a goo, it probably means it contains solvent, so it's very important it is left to evaporate before using.

Note to self: Don't smoke weed and post! Thanks you two for clarifying my "hazy" calculations. I think the extra comes from a bit of extra leaf (it was around 0.7-0.8).

I'll go kick rocks or something now hahaha

Hola! I'm trying to figure out the best changa blend for me. I have 800mg salvia leaf, 450mg calea leaf, a 25x blue lotus blend I made, passionflower, pau d'arco, mullein leaf, and a brugmansia stem. I have access to maybe some other dried herb at the Pike place market (if anyone is familiar with my area).

I'm thinking of electric sheep but don't know if my small amount will suffice. Maybe I can take leaf from my calea plant? I dont want to limit myself with just this one blend. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Also, my maoi is actually Syrian rue harmala I just finished extracting. I'd like to try the caapi leaf at some point but this is all I have ATM. Does anyone have experience with this carrier and would it be worth it?
 
If you have 450mg of Calea and about the same of the blue lotus (or less, really, since it's 25x), I would go with Electric Sheep, and add some rue harmalas as well.
 
I'll go with the sheep then :) maybe just a few.pinches of the blue lotus. Probably shouldn't have used up the last standard potency lotus.

What's the major difference in thh as opposed to rue harmalas? Besides 'the magic'?
 
Interesting... I'll have to get some caapi leaf to see for myself.

I decided against making electric sheep until I have more calea at my disposal. I've decided instead on some blue lotus, pau d'arco And a little passion flower.

I'm a bit confused though. I can't wrap my head around the ratios and I lost the thread that gave a perfect explanation of this. Say I want to use 1g DMT. How much harmala and plant matter would this call for? I'd be using naphtha to evaporate.
