Acacias I May Stumble Upon

G'day team, since the beginning of the year I've become increasingly fascinated with Acacias and now that they're in full bloom here I thought I'd start a thread showcasing all of the different specimens I come across when I'm out and about. Starting with a few from the walk to work yesterday, as well as a bunch from my walk around the University near mine this morning, I was amazed to find they're literally everywhere I look, literally hundreds of them growing everywhere. If anyone can identify any of them I'd be excited to find out! I hope to be able to identify them correctly myself some day but for now I'm just posting these pretty trees for fun. Cheers

1 & 2 - A. fimbriata
3 & 4 - A. longifolia
5 & 6 - A. fimbriata
7. A. decurrens
8. A. pycnantha
9. A. fimbriata

5. Cant see enough detail.. close up will be easy to tell once i know if it is ball or rod flowered.

Wowee I wasn't expecting such a variety! From my untrained eye I could only see 4 distinctly different varieties and expected the rest to be pretty much the same. I appreciate the analysis! Edit: on the second post, 1 is actually 2 types right next to each other and 5 and 6 are the same tree

3 seperate specimens, different areas from this afternoons trek. They look like the same variety to me, my guess is Longifolia?

The first two photos seem to be A. longifolia .. the last photo potentially is A. sophorae .. or are they the same plant? There is some grey area between these species and they are both wildly variable in their taxonomy. A really interesting species and an Aussie classic!
