Greetings Nexus. My apologies for my absence over the Christmas period, but as you know Santa is a busy man.

I have been searching for a long time for a good source of d-limonene. I have found a candidate on a certain site I won't mention because this isn't the right place for that.

It's called Almawin Orange Concentrate Oil Cleaner and it contains limonene (obviously) but it also contains Vegetable emulsifier, Saccharoidal surfactants, Alcohol and Herb extracts. Will this cause me problems? If so could it be processed in some way? I'm sure the alcohol could be simply removed by evaporation.

Thanks, GoodApollo.

tbh, i don't know if those would negatively affect extraction or not, but my general rule is if it's foodsafe, its probably safe to use in an extraction.

i will say cleansense natural orange has been used successfully, and is easy to find with a quick google 😉

Thanks. I've actually found a few of these products. I may try a few of them and report what I find. They're pretty cheap, much cheaper than buying pure orange oil. I'm very interested in using it to extract some mescaline.

I read through that tek, seems simple enough. However I have some concerns that some saponification will occur and knowing my luck, I'll end up making more soap than mescaline.

Depending upon my success with these limonene based cleaning products, I may find cause to try the sunflower tek after all.
