Rising Star
Hi.
I'm not sure what to say. I'm here because I have experienced the profound effects of the spice and it seems this is an appropriate forum for discussing such experiences with others who have shared them.
I live in the US and I am part of a local group that is lobbying to accurately enforce the provisions of the US Controlled Substances Act regarding scheduling of certain substances and the criteria listed. I have never known a person addicted to substances which induce psychedelic experiences, yet I have known several addicted to substances which are legal when prescribed by a doctor. However, until we achieve our goal, these substances remain illegal and the penalties for possessing arbitrary amounts of them cause more harm than the substances themselves.
As far as "me in a nutshell", I am:
A son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend. An adventurer, seeker, wondering wanderer. A scientist philosopher and technologist. A self-centered human attempting to resolve the conflicts between my ego, my philosophy, and the reality in which I exist.
Feel free to ask me any questions and I'll answer them. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this community and share in the knowledge and experience.

As I said, I can go on for years!
