Anonymous purchases on the 'net

Let's say it was possible to use someone else's credit card to buy things online, but your only option to receive packages was at your home address or at a PO box. Is there any way you could buy things more-or-less anonymously? The main thing I'm worrying about is getting my real name in PayPal or Ebay's databases.
 
Don't be too scared about your privacy.
As long as you don't buy things which are illegal you shouldn't bother too much!

Second thing:
I wouldn't recommend using a credit card of someone else.
You can get serious problems!
 
I more had in mind a special type of gift card. When you activate the card online, you can enter any name/address you want, and this become the card's billing address. There is no verification process, it is all done digitally and instantly. I did not mean to imply any kind of theft.

Not to fan the flames of paranoia, but if you had the right data mining software and access to all of Paypal's transactions, don't you think it'd be pretty easy to figure out who is probably extracting DMT? I mean, if a single person bought fumaric acid, 1 kg MHRB, a milligram-range scale, NaOH, and some lab glassware, what are they odds that they are not extracting spice? Sure I might just be paranoid, but I wonder if a list of "suspicious" paypal transactions might one day be enough to convince a judge to grant a search warrant...
 
Theoretically yes, but in practise it may prove more difficult to prosecute someone on the basis of owning such items. If police knocks the door, they have a warrant and find extraction-in-progress then you're screwed.

It is legitimate to own fumaric acid, MHRB, glassware etc. You want the fumaric acid for the fruity taste and pH adjustment for your home-brewed wine. And your NaOH and glassware for your soap making and drain cleaning. And the MHRB for making dyestuffs (apparently it is good for that, giving very nice earthy colours esp if chrome alum is used for mordanting) so there's no problem. If you're getting down the paranoid line then you'd better start having many new hobbies!:d
