Just wondering if anyone has tried these or this brand specificly? Never tired amanita muscaria but saw these at the smoke shop earlier and figured why not

They've been getting pretty popular where I live and they sell them in the smoke shops.
The QR code on the back for the lab report says they contain 4-AcO-DMT, basically synthetic psilocybin, as well as an Amanita Muscaria blend, ibotenic acid and muscimol. However it's very vague on how much of each is contained per gummy, it just says 750mg per gummy so not sure how much of each alkaloid I'd be getting per dose.
Just curious if anybody else has tried these or this specific brand and how was your experience?

I haven't tried them, but I have tried Amanita muscaria. If they really have ibotenic acid I would be careful, as it's neurotoxic and responsible for most of the possible negative effects of A. muscaria. Muscaria is usually dried using heat to attempt to convert all ibotenic acid into muscimol.

Some legal mushroom gummies/chocolate/etc., have been found to contain 4-aco-DMT. Course some of those also contained Kave, Amanita, and even gabapentinoids.
I played with many of the legal THC thangs at a local smoke shop and stopped that even before my state became legal. They all jacked up tolerance quickly for various reasons and, mostly, you didn't know about leftover conversion/synthesis chemicals and/or what else might be thrown into the brew.

I'd try them, carefully, if I was real curious. But sure wouldn't make it a habit and buyer beware.

Personally I wouldn't touch those products with a ten foot pole. Too many reports of adulterated products being sold. The whole "legal" mushroom marketing is worrisome as amanitas are being black balled for being thrown into the mix when there's a whole slew of other compounds added to provide a trippy feeling.

It's a cool label anyway.

What is that a trippy vulture? Perhaps a bit of a Freudian slip from the makers?

They don't have a vulture emoji, so you get a duck ->🦆

Yes, I have had these but a different brand when they first came out, labeled as amanita gummies..and found out quickly there was something else going on that I LOVED(because I had not had psychedelics in about a decade, just a sea of addiction, so in a sense was salvation and brought me back Earth, so to speak).

I ate two gummies and noticed a body high similar to the signature come-up of psilocybin..then proceeded to eat the rest of the bag for an experience I can only describe as a very low dose psilocybin trip that never blasted off, slight OEV & tracers, overall I appreciated the whole experience and repeated it in higher doses. Extremely expensive..

The fact it was labeled JUST amanita muscaria and ibotenic acid 1:1 is scary and REALLY not cool though.

I must ask, for veterans for aco-dmt---isnt this a very potent psychedelic? Not sure why I never seemed to ever get a "full effect" whatever that may be, but someone had mentioned these gummies were probably dosed at 5-15mg of 4 aco dmt for each gummie..what do you all think? Maybe need upwards of 150mg in one sitting?

It is, it's supposed to deacetylate into psilocin. The effects (I had it pure, not in some product) were very similar to mushrooms but without any body load. It was definitely very powerful. @new_science is a fan.

Who knows really what they have and how much. It may be 4-HO-MET, 4-HO-MiPT, or something different. I would test those before consuming them, or preferably avoid them altogether. There are better alternatives.

Check the back of the package for list of ingredients. My guess is that there is no psilocybe or even 4-aco-DMT in there. Those "legal high" companies routinely make ridiculous claims.
From what I've read, (in the US) they often add 4-substituted tryptamines but don't list it. And also often they lack any actual psychedelics, as you say. It's not something to be trusted.

I love 4-AcO-DMT but I would never eat a gummy with undisclosed ingredients or amounts thereof. It's much too easy to make our own tinctures, gummies, etc. and know what substance and dose we are consuming.

Don't let convenience land you in a sticky situation. The best case scenario with most of these offerings is getting ripped off.

Signed,

An aging grump
