I would hope most Nexians would know better than to put themselves in a crappy youtube vid.

You're making out like this guy happened to stumble across a camera that was recording; he made the video and put it out there. My beef isn't that he has no idea about how to present properly, it's that he thought this would be a good idea in the first place. it isn't.

It is a superficial disfigurement caused by a bone chip coming off my skull during a skull trauma. In the 4 decades its grown due to layers of tissue building up around it caused by mechanical movement. I suppose it could be easily removed if I so chose, but I have grown fond of my blemishes as I gain wisdom from them.

This guy has a very creepy persona (at least on camera). Such an offputting video. Their is no way that this is "good" for the community.
The skull trauma might explain his off-putting nature - Possibly some sort of brain damage?
 
Hmmm... I'll have to watch it again. I thought I saw a few words on it. Looked like a round piece of plastic glued to that dudes head. A traumatic brain injury would explain alot though.

Absolutely no need to apologize. I too have thought about it and wondered if its actually a good or bad video for the mainstream to see. I can somehow see how it's recieved as a creppy old weirdo and the head thinbg is definatly...well.

I propably was captivated by the fact that finally someone on a mainstream portal admits that love and the dmt experience go hand in hand ..or at least can go hand in hand. I'm sick of general entity babble. I want people to learn and to make changes accordingly.

It seems to me, that to many, DMT is a portal to some sort of intergalactic zoo and then they talk about howe this is a neurotransmitter and that i shouldn't be illegal...fine, but if every DMT user would learn their lessons, prohibition would be on its way out.

People generally look like tits and know fuck all about how to make an argument or tell a compelling story using the audio-visual medium. They are by definition, amateurs. If you want to make a point about DMT, putting some homemade bollocks on youTube is precisely the worst thing to do.

The good stuff on youTube is generally either expensive 'viral' advertising, or trails for programmes by very large media organisations who put a lot of money and expertise into programmes.

People watch TV programmes or documentaries and think, 'oh hey, I'll do that'. If you shoot it on your iPhone, it's going to look like you've shot it on your iPhone and that is the equivalent of coming to the indie 500 on a tricycle.

I'm sure there will be exceptions - there always are - but imo filming yourself blasting off or coming back from hyperspace is not going to do anyone any good, seriously. If we want to nake an argumetn to make this acceptable by society, that is not the way to do it.

Perhaps. Strassman may be a brilliant writer, but he's not much of a public speaker himself. Every time I've heard him speak, he's always stuttering and has difficulty finding his words.
