B Caapi availability (and vs. S Rue)

SWIM is looking to make changa for the 1st time, and ordered some rue but read after that Caapi is a more pleasant experience and smoke. Looked for caapi leaves online and only found 2 vendors willing to ship to USA, both of which will take about a month. Is this typical or can one recommend a different vendor? What is the legality situation of Caapi in the US?

Also, can you help compare rue vs. caapi in terms of both ease of incorporating into changa (sounds like w/rue you need to perform an extraction whereas with caapi you can simply use the leaf w/wo 10x enhancement).

Thanks in advance. Trying to research but into is overwhelming.

I'm not as knowledgeable as most here, but to give you a preliminary answer.
Keep doing Google searches for the Caapi. I've gotten it twice without going out of the US. Hell, I saw it on the big river although I would not recommend that.
It's legal in the US.
Caapi leaf is weaker than the vine. I did a 5X extraction of it and it works but you need many inhalations. I made a water and vodka extract of Rue to make a "hash" which works on a few hits. Honestly, I generally mix up a bowl of the two and smoke that.
I almost always pre-dose harmalas instead of adding it to changa. I'm thinking you'd want to do an extraction for that.
