if you arent going to use heat or macerate the plant material (powedering) then i would suggest freezing/thawing repeatatively, then a cwe, atleast with the freezer youll bust up the plant tissue a bit while still walking your "no heat" line

a purified extract is not the entheogenic experience achuma flesh is mg per mg IMHO

Yeah the CWE was attempted. had not success. The heat is neccessary to penetrate the cactus flesh and release the medicine. The peeled, chopped, and despinned flesh just sat there in the cold water like corks. I think the cactus might have still thought it was alive.
Dorge that method does sound appealing, like a Kava preparation but for dried cactus. nice. I would filter with a shirt though but that's just me.

So yes the CWE Doesn't work.

That does sound like a very nice method, but unfortunately my foaf has a very weak stomach and has been known to vomit just tasting tea, let alone swallowing it. he has eaten dried chips as little snacks throughout the day many times, but has also developed a resistance to that as well.

That's why he wanted to do the resin tek, so he can encapsulate and not have to taste the medicine. He realizes that a cwe is definitely not considered raw but he feels like it is pretty close, since it is not being cooked. Also, a cwe can be conducted anywhere, like on a boat or in the woods, which is desirable to my foaf.

san pedro raw is much easier to get down than cooked. If its in tea, or if its powdered cactus, then your entire mouth is going to heavily taste the san pedro, and it doesnt go away easily or with anything, some chasers even make it worse. the advantage would be that it comes up stronger and faster,

but if youd rather not taste it and have fresh cactus to use heres what you can do

using only the outer green part, slice your measured dose into small bits, then in small handfuls you swallow it quickly like pills with lots of water. since its fresh and youre not chewing anything you dont taste much..

if you dried your cactus you can try putting the dry material into gelcaps, I did that once, swallowed 12 pills. gave me heavy nousea, almost vomited but didnt... and so tripped balls on san pedro without tasting the cactus at all (because you taste it if you puke)
of course this also depends on how strong your cactus is, the cactus i used was quite strong, 12 500mg gelcaps stuffed with powdered dry cactus (only outer green), was a really good strong and visual trip at least in the range of strong trips with mescaline 300-500mg.. other cactus thats not so strong you would need to stuff more pills and swallow more pills, swallowing pills isnt too much fun either and you still feel quite a bit of nousea.
