Callistemon Citrinu [info appreciated on alkaloid content]

Hello fellow Nexians,

Was hoping somebody might be able to shed some light on the alkaloid content of Callistemom Citrinus otherwise known as Crimson Bottlebrush? Have been told extract is possible but found no information as to confirm or deny this. Any information or experience is greatly appreciated.

I couldn't find any info on tryptamines either. I had a quick skim through an article about its antimicrobial chemicals. You might be better off extracting from mhrb rootbark. Or if you are not looking to order that, there are many alternate sources to extract from if you wanna monkey with them a little bit. I know the plant you mentioned grows in my area, so too do many invasive acacia species. Perhaps look into those more? There's load of information on them here at this site. Just harvest sustainably.
