its obv that salvia didnt make this kid kill himself there had to of been other factors.
Dorge said:People who grow it care about it. If it's outlawed it won't be exploited by profiteers and used by morons. Win win.
Until we can share wisdom with others on respectful relationships with entheogens in a way that's not socially stigmatized... What other choice do people have then to pass bullshit laws. Gives us somthing to work on doesn't it.
In other words, “we can’t take legal action against people who use salvia unless we make salvia illegal”.Adding salvia divinorum and salvinorin A to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act would finally "enable law enforcement agencies to take action against suspected illegal activities involving these substances," Health Canada says in the notice.
Well, they don't sell it in Porn stores here in Canada from what I've witnessedDorge said:The thing is no cop will ever be able to identify salvia plants. And they won't be looking for it and it won be a problem any more if they stop mass selling it in Porn stores.
And the cop doesn't even need to be able to identify it, he just has to have "probable cause" or "suspicion of illegal activities" which are very broad terms. If you think they won't be looking for it, you're sorely mistaken. The target is the distributors, you're right, and they will call me a distributor for growing a few Salvia plants in my home and making homemade extracts. It doesn't have to make much sense, as long as they catch you with it.Yep, as I said, it doesn't even have to make sense. I really thought Canada was above this kind of thing...how wrong I was.gibran2 said:In other words, “we can’t take legal action against people who use salvia unless we make salvia illegal”.Adding salvia divinorum and salvinorin A to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act would finally "enable law enforcement agencies to take action against suspected illegal activities involving these substances," Health Canada says in the notice.
Can’t argue with that logic.
