Changa Hash

Something that has crossed my mind from time to time is that dumping DMT powder into a neutral solution of harmala salts would result in the powder becoming coated with a thin layer of harmala freebase. (This is because DMT has a higher pKₐ than either harmine or harmaline.)

Assuming the DMT doesn't dissolve completely, it should be possible to collect the resulting "changa crystals" and use them for vaporising or smoking somehow or other.

Not that it's something I've tried yet, but it seems worth putting out there (again - even if I've maybe mentioned the idea somewhere before).

I was also thinking about some "lazy" way to add DMT to this changa hash. The TnT tek sounds like a good candidate, but I think the end product one obtains from it after evaporation may be too runny to be properly mixed or to get a somewhat solid end result. I wonder if the end result could be made more solid by salting it and then freebasing in water. Or maybe it could be dissolved as freebase in the ethanolic extract of harmalas and then evaporated.

Thanks. The idea remains to be tried in this quarter. I'm also yet to observe the results of evaporation of the TnT liquid. I would guess a firm goo might be amenable to rolling in harmala crystals or something, but the general idea was to get a suitable layer of harmala base coated onto the outside of the DMT solids, so, in the case of the goo, one might not want to squish it around too much.

I could also envision pneeding the harmals into the goo and then giving it a final extra coating of more harmalas. This might be useful as an oral pellet for swallowing in one chunk - iff the dose can be assured with reasonable accuracy, that being a matter of care and precision when (lovingly ) crafting the pellets.
