Ok, I've been trying to track the origins of this absolutely legendary Icaro session and I just cannot for the love of all that is sacred find who sang it, when, where, and what are the lyrics of the Icaros themselves.
Upon digging further, there are some references to an Ayahuasquera called Dona Cotrina Valles, operating the Chaska Suyay retreat near Iquitos, Peru, but I cannot confirm if the Icaros in this recording are hers or not.
I want to know all there is to know about the maestra curandera that is singing. I want to learn these songs because they touch me deeply, like a siren's song calling me back to the path of healing. I've tried Shazam-ing it, I've tried asking multiple LLMs, nothing but this particular upload on youtube comes up.
Any info is greatly appreciated
EDIT: Nevermind, after a few lucky clicks I can confirm the curandera is indeed Dona Cotrina Valles, as I found a 4-part video playlist with her Icaros and they're the same - Icaros Ayahuasca de Dona Cotrina Valles

@Nydex, I remember the compilation, but I know nothing about it. For me, it was another mestizo collection that stuck inside.
It has a faulty mic and some other issues, but it was the music for one of my first ceremonies. It was divine, to say the least.
I saw myself riding a horse somewhere in the Andes, experiencing so much freedom.

No worries, I found the source, I've edited my post above. And thanks for sharing that wonderful recording, I've saved it to my ceremony music. Maybe it's not for icaros, but it can summon some divine energy into your ceremony. Just pronouncing it balances our human system.

It definitely wasnt downloaded, as its an ancient regional variation of proto-Indo-European languages that predate it and have different branches equally old like Greek and Hittite. However its definitely got its place as language of the Vedas.I'm honored

Sanskrit comes from the native word -> saṃskṛti <-. Understanding the meaning of this word gives a lot of clues about it.
saṃskṛti (संस्कृति).—f Refinement, Civilisation.
My hypotesis about it is that it is actually a fine refinement of various indo-european languages that have been spoken around and it could therefore be regarded as a first scientific atempt (altough not consciously) to create what we now call proto-indo-european language.
I think it's not hard to see the benefits of such systematic refinement of language. Divine inspiration to do so is also not out of the possibility therefore all aspects of it are satisfied in my view.

Let me show you an interesting example of the fine refinement of sanskrit and how it can satisfy both the scientific and spiritual aspects in one stroke.
In sanskrit there are short and long syllables. Changing the length of a syllable in a word can drastically change it's meaning therefore this aspect of the language is of utmost importance.
Some time ago I had found this poem - stotra/prayer/hymn devoted to Lord Shiva from the famous sage Patanjali (author of the famous Yoga-sutra text). The thing about this extensive poem is that is only contains short syllables, not one long syllable is there and the poem is really long. It turns out it does not contain any "horned" syllables as well which is related to devanagari script that has been used for this. This is only a further limitaiton of language available and makes it much harder still to compose. Just image the mastery over language and creativity to get a thing like this together. You can hear a modern rendition of this two millenia old poem here (with english translation) -->
