the second page doesnt work...but SWIM has used the first one..the klean strip or whatever...hes not sure how clean that one evaped..he never actually used it for an extraction..it may be best to put some on some stainless steel..and see how it evaps...if there is any residue..dont use it..but SWIM cant remember if the klean strip stuff was clear or not

maybe he'll do a little test to see how it goes..

judging by the amount that is left in the container..it seems like he used some for extraction...ive done a little test to see if there is any residue..and cant so far detect any...but..be careful...this is the kinda shit that makes you sick if you get it wrong

well i have done three tests...ive done two small amounts and am waiting for the larger amount to evap and see whats left...but the two smaller ones have left no residue so far...that i can detect...

but it seems like SWIM used the klean strip before...he just cant remember how clean it came out...he used quite a bit if i can remember right

there is a test you can try...put some on your finger until it evaps...you will start to see your finger turn a bit white..and that is from your oils...now if that happens..it SHOULD be clean..but i really dont want to bet on it..

SWIM had issues with figuring out the purity of that stuff as well...and stopped using it because he couldnt really figure it out

personally i would steer clear of the klean strip...my tests are not turning out positive or negative..its hard to tell..and thats not a good sign...so what i would suggest...is wait until you get come confirmation from somebody that is a bit more knowledgeable about this shit..

you dont want to fuck up the solvent part:)

Just some facts:

Both naptha and petroleum ether are petroleum distillates

Naptha is made up of mostly other short chain hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons.

Petroleum ether should not contain aromatic hydrocarbons just straight chain hydrocarbons.

As for additives you don't want those.

Both petroleum ether and naptha work as fine non polar solvents for spice extraction.
