Hello to all the space travelers out there!

Let me start off by saying this site is the absolute bomb! There is so much good information on this site and I love how everyone treats this sacred substance with so much respect as is deserved.

I've been browsing this site for a couple months now and I finally got my first extraction done last week. I followed joshisom's tek and my first pull ended in some goo. I totally understand that this isn't out of the ordinary and that spice comes in many shapes and forms. But mostly when I read and see pictures on the goo its described as being red-brown. My goo has come up clear with a few small patches of orange goo. I've attached a photo of the goo and was wondering if anyone could give me a shout out to whether this is smokable or to why this happened?

I've already got a gvg and am spiritually prepared to blast of into hyperspace. Will defiantly post up my experience afterwards.

How much does your goo weigh?

If it's very heavy & close to the yeilds expected from your bark you can clean it up further to yeild white spice powder/crystals.

Go with smaller amounts next time around (joshism's tek is a larger scale extraction). It allows you to get the most out of your bark & you won't be at too much of a loss if you mess up 50g.
Cybe tek works well & a mini a/b at the end cleans up oily/gooey acacia spice nicely.

Haven't looked at that tek, you could rextal to get whiter spice or enhance some leaf with it. It's usually NMT, DMT N-oxide, fats, impurities that carry over during extracting. If you incorporate a clean up step during extraction it will usually eliminate that. It should still be very active. I'm assuming you used acrb.

I don't have anything to weigh it with atm but i'll get around to it when I get some scales.I used 100g acrb just to get used to all the methods and stuff. Practice makes perfect. Doing the second pull atm so ill see what that gets. Not really fussed about having crystals just wanted to know if anyone has seen this sort of goo before.

Ive never seen goo of the sort myself.

Usually my goo is a light brown, dark brown, or black.

Could always go for a re-x, right?

Have you ever heard of a step calldd the mini-ab?

Oh, you got the goo alright. Personally, I'm very fond of it, its complex nature being very full of light. I don't own aGVG or any decent free base pipe,so i solve my goo in 99pc IPA, then soak an inert herb like mullein in it, evap, and viola, you have something i wish we had a cooler name for than enhanced herbs. You can add harmalas to it too :thumb_up:
