Would be nice to have a nexus-approved compatibility chart for common reagents and materials, whether someone tested the combinations themselves or we just cherry pick the data from a trusted existing chart.

Over the years I've probably looked at a lot of different charts and it's not always clear whether something is compatible in the extraction context (potential heat, acid, base, hydrocarbons). It would open up a lot potential I think if more materials are found to be acceptable.

For a niche example, consider Tygon, a flexible tubing used for fuel lines. I've only ever seen one other person talk about Tygon, @benzyme, I might have gotten the idea from them. I use it with a peristaltic pump to transfer hydrocarbons. But a lot of people looking to get through their first extraction wonder about different plastic items.

I'm also curious about metals. People generally boil down their acid baths and I'm guessing it's in a metal pot. I've used metal utensils to mix dry teks. I have an unconfirmed fear that metal ions could bind with aromatic rings or play some role in oxidation.
