Creating smokable blend with an Oxalate?

Good day Nexians.

I'm not much of a chemist, and while I am challenging myself to a year of sobriety, that does not mean I have stopped planning for the future

I have had some excellent experiences with a compound known as 5meoMALT (do not confuse with 5meoDALT). It seems boring until one takes a plunge of vaporizing 10+mg of it. Apparently plugging is a viable ROA as well for this one, though that is something I have not attempted myself.

The changa concept got me thinking - could one infuse this material on a smokable herb like mullein or damiana? I feel this may make dosing more efficient.

So my questions remain:

Can an oxalate be infused using the same principle changa is made from?

Smoking salts may work, but it may also be potentially dangerous. Could you not convert it to freebase?

DMT can be in salt form or in freebase form. A salt form means the DMT is attached to an acid molecule. DMT is naturally in salt form in the plants because of plant acids (for example dmt tannate or oxalate due to tannic or oxalic acid being present in some plants). When people extract DMT, they can make it in freebase form to smoke, because DMT in salt form can't be smoked, it has high boiling point and breaks down instead of vaporizing efficiently. Some salt forms like DMT fumarate can even be toxic to smoke due to creation of maleic anhydride during combustion.

Consider that DMT also is present in plants in the form of a salt. Various teks describe the process of extracting and then freebasing the DMT, so it becomes smokable.

Just look up a DMT fumarate to DMT freebase tek in the wiki and use that to freebase your tryptamine salt.

I see!

I was unaware as to what an oxalate was. When the time comes, I will follow a tek on here and see if it can be freebased that way.

I think if all the tryptamines, this is the only one ive seen as an oxalate. Others usually being hcl or fumarates.
