I have been doing a little experimenting lately with Caapi. I am not into purging, so I will always take the easiest way around that and I would prefer not to do a Harmala extract. What I have found to work perfectly is allowing my Caapi brew to sit several days in a cool dark place and then decant filtering through a t shirt. The resultant brew causes me no nausea what so ever. Just mix in the spice and ... . . . . down the hatch all at once. I can make a 10 dose batch and I'm set for a month or so. Some mornings I enjoy a cup of warm caapi brew with no spice, just caapi. It makes the day go by....... Groovy. A warm cup before bed is also nice.
