Potentially deadly! Datura seeds for lucid dreaming?

So dear community.

I read a story of taking low amounts of Datura seeds around 1-3 or 1-5 to have instant vivid and lucid dreaming at night.

What experiences have you done and is it really safe? Could there be variying potencies that do induce delirium if the seeds are too potent?

If what you are looking for is vivid dreams, my most vivid dreams have been with spartium junceum flowers (similar toxicity to nicotine so requires utmost care with dose!), and the rue+vervain combination. The latter is an avant garde, experimental combination, but it gave me the most insanely vivid, realistic and (at the same time) fantastic dreams that I can remember. Touring in ancient Mayan pyramids, perceiving everything in an insanely detailed and high resolution, vibrantly colorful manner... Feeling the spirit of everything, including the moss on the walls...

Clary sage flower tea gives me very restful sleep and very inspiring, colorful dreams.

Mugwort and wormwood tea (separately) give me mysterious dreams often penetrating into the darker parts of the unconscious.

Interesting, sounds like a laburnum seed or two might have a similar effect, along with having similar caveats.

Found some Brugmansia in the woods today.... they have quite a nice odor. Soft, gentle and sweet. Tonight, they go in my bedroom. If their scent has any effect on my dreams, I'll report back.

I think optimally the cuttings should create new roots and flower naturally. I suppose cuttings lose their scent as they are ready to die.
Where do you live that you found them?

That is correct. They lost their scent fairly quickly. And their odor wasn't very strong to begin with. They smelled the strongest after I opened the plastic bag I took them home in. This experiences makes me want to learn how to extract flower essences and perfumes.

Unfortunately, I did not conduct my experiment. In order to do so, I think I would have had to keep the flowers in a plastic bag next to my pillow in order to work, since their odor is rather weak without being concentrated. The night ended with me passing out on the couch, then stumbling into bed. No dreams – at least none that I can recall.

I've found datura growing wild or at least naturalised at around 53.4°N, 10.6°E in a sheltered, south-facing location. That's still way further south than you but it's a reference point, at least.

It's a VERY dangerous substance to play with. The LD50 is very close to a normal working dose, and I would never recommend a tripping dose of it.

There's tons of it in the dunes "somewhere" south of Den Haag, along with sea buckthorn, russian olive and common reeds. I've amused myself on occasion by imagining 'duneahuasca' with those ingredients. Too much datura, though, and the sandworms come for you…

"Tripping" dose datura is never ever something to be to be recommended. For whoever has the sensitivity and appreciation, and has mastered the basic recipe already, 2-3 seeds added to huasca can be enriching. That's the maximum dose I would speak about.

[although a small amount wont seriously harm you].....you dont need to take datura ... [a poison].... all this will do is make normal dreams extreemly vivid and easy to recall......making you mistakingly think ....[ you just had a lucid dream].....[because it was so vivid!].... .

In past...Ive experianced dreams so extreemly vivid that i was fooled into thinking it was a lucid dream ....but later realized ....[ i wasnt aware it was a dream].... when it was going on..

there for it was NOT!.... a true lucid dream....but the high degree of vividness..making my dream recall very sharp when waking...made the ...ultra vivid dream ... seem just as nice as a lucid controled dream ...i was happy!

[lucid dreams]... are dreams that ...you know are dreams!... while they are occuring.. .and you ...gain concious control... of the dream while its hapening in your mind while asleep usually in the last 4 hours of ...REM sleep......Rapid eye movement sleep when most remembered dreams happen...

conscious control.... in dream.... can be......... levetating in a dream scene ..flying over vast dream citys...talking to dream carectors...flying or walking through glass or mirrors as the glass stretches like rubber...doing DMT Or LSD or any drug can safely be experianced in a dream
you can be a villian and .commit crimes in a lucid dream.......or be the hero of the world ...... as thousands of dream carectors aplaud you!

you can enter cosmic carniviles similar to a dmt trip...in dreams ...There ARE NO LIMITATIONS!

You don’t mistake a lucid dream for a vivid dream or vice versa ime. It’s pretty clear what lucidity is..imo. It’s unmistakable. Doesn’t matter I’d datura helped or not.

I agree with you on this point that you can still walk around while under its influence..

I know this because many years ago i took a couple teaspoons of beladonna powder. ... oraly in liquid....it was called ...asthmadore powder... ..and old asthma remedy that was burned and inhaled to reduce asthhma symptoms..


I was a dumb kid then... looking for a way to alter my mind...i was 19 years old...when i first starting getting off on the stuff i noticed thousands of bugs different colors crawling on the walls everywhere in the house also when i tryed to walk ....it felt like i had ..waited moon boots on....my movements like walking got very sloooow.....my mouth got very dry...then the halucinations started!

my young healthy heart was strong... felt like it was slowed down quite a bit...[or was it tachycardia?].... .from the effects of beladonna!

My friends wife let me wander out of the house into the street...The halucinations were awesome...but i saw them as real....i was slowly walking down the side walk talking to myself or to things i saw.....[that really werent there!] ...i was totaly emersed in constant halucinations and to me then they apeared real...

I was smoking cigaretts constantly.... [that werent real].... just a halucinations.......also eating candy bars... that didnt exist....finally i sat down in a strangers front yard talking to people from my past ..[that were just dreams]... for what seemed like hours....in that condition i needed help!

Eventually someone called the cops and was taken by ambulance to a hospital ..still smoking my dream cigaretts...and talking to my dead relitives...
when you take this stuff you defenantly need a sitter or friend to keep you out of trouble...
