I think you're projecting a bit here. In my breakthroughs, even my most profound out of body experiences, my consciousness is still usually intact.

Anyway, as per asking a question in an experience and having it answered, I can think of at least one occasion where this happened. I was sitting in my room, and took my hits, closed my eyes, and got stuck in this relatively low-level (yet intense all the same) loop. It just kept looping through the same scenes, most of which I had seen in the past, so nothing new. I was growing rather bored, and so since I usually don't try to communicate questions or anything of the sort during the experience, as I'm usually very passive, I decided to experiment a bit.

I had had a number of Egyptian themed experiences in the past that always piqued my interest and so, I posed the question to it, "What can you tell me about Egypt?" --- Nothing happens. It just keeps looping. So I calmly restate my question twice more (at this point not really expecting much to happen). After restating (in my head) the question a third time, "What can you tell me about Egypt," all of a sudden the loop stops and the whole experience begins escalating dramatically. Sure enough it throws me headfirst into some of the most beautiful Egyptian visions before culminating in a godhead experience. I was taken extremely off guard as this was the first godhead experience I ever had without any harmalas, and I had only loaded up 20mg. So the response to my question wasn't really a verbal one, but they still answered in style as they tend to do.

Wow nice, that's really cool, and was this a breakthrough with entities?
There were these Egyptian Statuesque guardian-looking entities there, yes.

?

I don't find this to be the case in my personal experience, so I think you are overgeneralizing.

That's the spirit my friend! You will be absolutely blown away.

You'll often read comments here about the DMT experience revealing more questions than answers. I would perhaps word this differently. You see, it does definitely bring you face to face with this amazingly deep and profound mystery. And you could ask questions about it for the rest of your life, although some of us my feel satisfied to have had the experience, and not feel inclined to question or analyze it too deeply.

At the same time, it can shine a type of light on you that may possibly help provide answers about your everyday life. I don't know about specific questions, but your most pressing issues are bound to be present in one form or another, and the perspective that DMT gives you may provide clarity about these things, as any psychedelic experience can.

I'd recommend keeping a notepad or recording device nearby. Don't pressure yourself to use them, but at least have something available.

Happy travels!

In my experience, it's not how much one can get out of the question that makes the difference... It's how much one can get from the answer.

Try splitting that question up into many smaller questions. A broad question will get you an impossibly broad answer, but with dozens of mini-thoughts about your question floating around, you'll get snippets answered and be able to piece it together better.

Say your question is... Why am I so weak?
What is weakness? How am I weak? When am I weak? Am I sick? Am I injured? What is sickness? How does one get sick? etc. until your entire consciousness is consumed with the problem and your mind will address the issue automatically.

This also works with fore-thought and statements. If you want to be stronger, envision yourself stronger, and your mind will work to make up the difference.
Tell yourself you will be strong. I will wake up early to work out. I will for-go junk food. I will eat healthy. Healthy food will help me grow strong. Strength is what I need; for the girl I want, job I want, energy and lifestyle I want. Working out will give me the strength to change my life. etc. until your entire consciousness is consumed with the belief that you CAN do it.

The power of mindset is remarkable when you let it work FOR you and not against you.

All said i do not believe The DMT is specifically for one Purpose

If you want questions answered you're using the wrong tool. DMT if anything gives you more questions to ask. Iboga on the other hand is used to contact your higher-self and get answers.

Hehe I was just about to ask about bringing structure to chaos: Analytical method in hyperspace. If you plan out the questions and ideas you wish to investigate before your trip, I can't NOT believe that it wouldn't be a more valuable experience than going in a natural state or with a blank and open mind? If any of you try and plan out what and how you investigate in your trips, would you just have to keep it in mind before hand and concentrate? If you brave out how menacing it might just get...I mean...what's the worse that can happen? You'll eventually awake.

Why in fact, yes. for me it was more of memories that had been bothering me that i wanted resolution with. And although the experience might not have made complete sense, afterwards i just knew to be thankful we live in the present and just live on and let go. So simple, yet so complicated.
