Desmanthus illinoensis

Migrated topic.
The DMT concentrations typically stated about Desmanthus are false. The actual root concentration is 0.015% DMT. Three 50 milligram doses per kilogram of root. I've extracted it from two different vendors and got the same approximate results.

Hummm..... I donno what to tell you but I have done it too, extracted 2 kilos of Desmanthus Ill. root bark a few years ago and got wayyyy more than that out of it. Very close to the specified amount, to tell you the truth it was so long ago I cannot remember the amount I was able to isolate but I do remember that it was close to what I had expected.

I am not questing his knowledge, just showing that I had different results with the batch I had worked with. I took into account that it was root bark, instead of root. No surprises for me when I did it.

Apparently D. Illinoensis can be highly variable in alkaloid content. Many recommend D. Leptolobus because it is more consistant and usually higher in content then Illinoensis and also seems to have more peelable rootbark.

several illy bundle plants are now in cultivation in hopes of someday donating the rootbark to someone who wishes to extract the spice and report back. this will not be for some time yet..... also a small amount will be sampled by myself in an ayahuasca type brew. :) peace -pineal

what tek did you use for extracting d. illinois root bark vortex? maybe that had to do w/ the difference in yield... is the tek similar to a mhrb extraction?
