Did Jesus smoke DMT?

Migrated topic.
Well he did take the time to weave together a whip from cords in order to drive out the money changers (bankers) from the holy Temple. This act was deliberate and symbolic. Instead of acting in blind rage, he took the time to weave the cords together, showing that this was a calculated act of judgment.
He was also asserting his authority (spiritually) over the ones who he saw as defiling the Temple and violating spiritual law.

Maybe we are living inside a trip of Jesus, who was a megalomaniac and had a bad trip where in his name humanity committed countless atrocities :) :ROFLMAO:

I am joking.

Ah, one of my favorite bits of the whole story, along with his advocation of raw food, wild bathing and naturism, which somehow didn't make it into the main bible.

Maybe the Essene Peace Gospels will hold some more clues about the gold thing as well. The ORMUS thing always seemed a bit hard for me to swallow for some reason, although there was a time way back in the halcyon days of the earlier noughties where I was hanging out with a bunch of hippies who were into the stuff. It may well have helped with their personal development through relieving them of the spiritual burden of some excess cash, I suppose.

As for synergy with psychedelics, we were all blazed up and tripping almost constantly as shrooms were still legal at that point so it's a bit hard to establish a control case. I did end up meeting my life partner through successive of acts of telepathy during that period so maybe it was the ORMUS (or etherium gold, or etherium pink, or the morphic field of that crazy hippie town).

Talking right now to said partner, she mentions having seen claims [from a talented linguist] that the gold either wasn't part of the original story at all, or it was a subsequent mistranslation of something. (Scribal errors are also a well known thing, of course.) I've asked her for a more specific reference for this.

For one thing, there are several very different words for gold used throughout the bible:

EDIT: OK, so the mistranslation bit was misremembered regarding gold - she was confusing it with the bit with the snake and the "apple" - "Malus" means "apple" but "Mala" (or something) means "evil".

Good discussion on ORMUS here though:

It’s pretty wild how people take the Bible as “the word of God” when it has been edited and translated in so many ways over hundreds of years, and was apparently written down long after the apostles it was attributed to were alive.

One thing that has always stood out for me is that apparently the earlier Greek version had Jesus saying “I am a son of God,” whereas the English version was translated to, “I am the son of God,” which completely changes and de-universalizes the meaning of these words.

Apparently the Ethiopian Bibles are the oldest and most intact of the original Bibles. I would love for a full translation to be done from the original languages of these ancient Bibles into multiple languages. They would most likely represent the most authentic and most ancient writings the original authors intended, before all the editing and rewrites design to hide truths.

Indeed. Not to mention the many books that were omitted entirely.

The lord's prayer in the original Aramaic is absolutely beautiful in comparison to it's King James version.

King James Version:
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done
In earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day
Our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.

Amen.

Aramaic Version translated to english:
"O cosmic Birther of all radiance and vibration, soften the ground of our being, and carve out a space within us where Your Presence can abide. Fill us with your creativity so that we may be empowered to bear the fruit of your mission. Let each of our actions bear fruit in accordance with our desire. Endow us with the wisdom to produce and share what each being needs to grow and flourish. Untie the tangled threads of destiny that bind us, as we release others from the entanglement of past mistakes. Do not let us be seduced by that which would divert us from our true purpose, but illuminate the opportunities of the present moment. For You are the round and the fruitful vision, the birth-power and fulfillment, as all is gathered and made whole once again."

I am a Christian. I'm quite liberal in my views. I believe in Jesus' message and I follow Jesus. But whether Jesus was God, the Son of God, a son of god and all that is superfluous to me. Jesus would want us to follow his teachings and who or what he was I believe is up to the individual if you do that.

Anyway, all that aside. Are there any people who believe in the teachings of Jesus who have pondered and wondered about the entities people see or the (in my case so far) presences which are strongly felt. I do think about that quite a bit.

Excellent topic, considering the issue of Jesus, I really like the vision that The Urantia Book gives us. I don't know if everyone knows the story of how The Urantia Book came into being, but it is a revealed book, which in Sanskrit is characterized as a Shruti-type scripture, that is, one that was heard directly from the gods, in contrast to the Smriti-type scriptures, which are those remembered and taken from previous teachings. The difference would be like the Rigveda (shruti) to the Upanishads (smriti). Considering the entire history of the Bible, it seems today to be more of the Smriti type, and therefore more prone to errors of interpretation.

I am quite skeptical and have a scientific background in psychology, so I do not defend The Urantia Book blindly, but after studying it for 20 years, I consider that it has an internal consistency of such vast and cosmic subjects that I consider it today a Shruti-type scripture.

Okay, but what does The Urantia Book have to do with the discussion about Jesus using entheogens? The book mentions that Jesus was a scribe versed in several languages, and the Levant region was right in the middle of the largest trade routes. This led to Jesus being invited by a father and son, prosperous merchants from India, to travel to the capital of the world, Rome, to serve as their personal translator (a very good job for the time, as you can imagine).

This entire trip is very well documented in the book, with all of Jesus' visits to the cities of Alexandria, Carthage, Crete, Malta, Athens, Babylon, Ur, and Rome. The largest cities in the world at the time, with the most brilliant minds and the best official infrastructures for alchemists to work without worries.

130:0.1 (1427.1) THE tour of the Roman world consumed most of the twenty-eighth and the entire twenty-ninth year of Jesus’ life on earth. Jesus and the two natives from India—Gonod and his son Ganid—left Jerusalem on a Sunday morning, April 26, a.d. 22. They made their journey according to schedule, and Jesus said good-bye to the father and son in the city of Charax on the Persian Gulf on the tenth day of December the following year, a.d. 23.

130:0.2 (1427.2) From Jerusalem they went to Caesarea by way of Joppa. At Caesarea they took a boat for Alexandria. From Alexandria they sailed for Lasea in Crete. From Crete they sailed for Carthage, touching at Cyrene. At Carthage they took a boat for Naples, stopping at Malta, Syracuse, and Messina. From Naples they went to Capua, whence they traveled by the Appian Way to Rome.

130:0.3 (1427.3) After their stay in Rome they went overland to Tarentum, where they set sail for Athens in Greece, stopping at Nicopolis and Corinth. From Athens they went to Ephesus by way of Troas. From Ephesus they sailed for Cyprus, putting in at Rhodes on the way. They spent considerable time visiting and resting on Cyprus and then sailed for Antioch in Syria. From Antioch they journeyed south to Sidon and then went over to Damascus. From there they traveled by caravan to Mesopotamia, passing through Thapsacus and Larissa. They spent some time in Babylon, visited Ur and other places, and then went to Susa. From Susa they journeyed to Charax, from which place Gonod and Ganid embarked for India.

Let's be honest, we all feel deep down that this whole story of Jesus and other great personalities using entheogens is true. The fact that Syrian rue is so prolific in their region makes the hypothesis that they were heavy users of the seeds completely plausible. The connection between Acacia and Freemasonry and ancient Egyptian rites, the Greeks always being considered great allies of Egypt, the remnants of witchcraft still present in Romania, the resurgence of interest in healing through plants.

Regarding the gold of immortality that was mentioned, we have the story of the gold of Ophir, and the main hypothesis is that it came from India or Sri Lanka.

Lots of love
