Sorry to bring up an old thread - I have bought the CUB and the V5 air cap without a window because it's 1 or 2mm taller than the standard cub body. I have the 3D XL cup rebuildable atomiser. The shop doesnt have the glass vortex top at all. What is the supposed issue with just using the air cap over an elongated glass version?
I've taken a few dry hits with a 20+ second inhale. As I am nearing a completed inhale I can easily see myself tapping the power button to stop the auto fire and clearing the relatively small air chamber. Is a 20 second inhale not enough?
But now you've got me thinking (as I havent used the device yet) that i need the glass vortex top.
Edit: I've ordered 2 glass vortexes, some terp balls (4mm) and a spare rebuildable atomiser as well as some o ring lubricant and a terp ball grabber.
Am I right in thinking the glass vortex has an inbuilt 14.4 male adapter/mouthpiece?

Ah. After a few attempts practising with cbd crumble i wasn't getting any real vapour. I now know what was wrong. My M1 menu was set to 0120. Chat GPT suggested it should be amended to 0200 and guided me through amending it. Tried a cbd dab to test and that's now working properly. I tried 220°C to start with and boy did thst make me cough. Not like the previous attempts did. Looking forward to trying it properly this weekend with some spice 
I've locked the resistance to 0.44 ohms. Set the wattage to 37 and will try the temperature set to 200°C first. I've also set the auto fire to 60 seconds.
Edit: Based on advice to preserve the heater, i have dropped the power to 36.7w. Much appreciated advice, thank you.
