mysterium-tremendu
Rising Star
I have been using DMT, ayahuasca analogues, and other substituted tryptamines for years now.
One phenomenon I have noticed is that my dreams have been permanently effected.
When I would die in a dream I used to wake up, now when I die in a dream I'm thrown into a DMT flash that is indistinguishable from smoked DMT in real life.
Sometimes I'll be in the middle of a dream and I'll be thrown into a DMT flash for no reason.
These dream DMT flashes are just as intense and overwhelming as DMT in real life. Though I'm not bothered by these events, I even considered learning lucid dreaming so I could induce them intentionally.
I was wondering how common these type of experiences were with DMT users. They speculate that DMT plays a role in dreaming, maybe that's what's going on here, regardless is it an interesting phenomenon, and if it is at all common maybe it deserves to be looked into or at least discussed.
