DMT in a Hookah - Will this work well?

In the bowl, I would put a leaf bed and put some dmt in the center. On top of that would be another layer of herb. I wouldn't use a coal. I would let the flames lick or get close to the center of the herb. I am wondering if this would be a worthwhile method?

Also should I have water in the vase? I don't know how water soluble it is and I also don't know if the cooled down DMT vapor would begin to collect on the walls.

My educated guess would be that you would destroy more spice than consume. Also, I'm pretty sure DMT can collect on the walls of the smoking device if allowed to cool

I figured the water would at least be a bad choice. I'm might try this at least once to compare to other methods and find my favorite.

Yeah, I keep seeing those words repeated. The actual method of smoking is something I have yet to investigate heavily. I have to figure out what changa is. Also they key. And what is this something called the machine?

I remember there being a thread here some months ago where someone used a hookah, and the results were disappointing. Re Changa: there's a changa sub-forum with all the info you'll need... worth a read. Basically, Changa is spice infused into powerful plant Allies - in particular, Caapi leaf. it's a really simple process to make it, and because it's a leaf mixture, it smokes well in a small bubbler or simple bong.

Not only is this probably the easiest method of administration, the plant Allies add an entire dimension to the experience which, imo, is far richer.

I've heard that DMT does work well in a hookah, although I haven't tried it myself. Changa, though, would be ideal over plain freebase.
A hookah is a water pipe. A bong is a water pipe. They both work on the same principle, just the hookah is bigger. DMT does well in a bong, so it should work decently in a hookah. Downside: hookah is used most often for flavored things, and DMT will make the hookah taste like ass. Other downside: a lot of smoke gets wasted compared to other smoking methods.

However, considering that this seems to be your first adventure into the DMT realms, considering the machine or using a bong for changa would probably be a much better introduction to spice than fiddling with a hookah.

I could just imagine you load more than you can smoke, blast off, and then all the rest just burns up while you're in hyperspace

Actually I should have mentioned, my hookah is only 13" tall! It's the size of an average bong.

I have some hookah experience, so I'll share.

Between 4 people (and 2 hoses), we had around 120mg DMT, heavily oxidized (last remnants of an older batch). 70mg of this was in enhanced leaf with blue lotus, the other 50mg was yellow/brown freebase powder. This was put on top of a bunch of weed (friends are stoners).

Nobody broke through, but I imagine I could have if I hogged a hose. We each took a big hit and passed, and then kept hitting until it was gone. Lasted a while - 20 minutes?. Mild visuals (I liken it to 2-3g of shrooms).

All three friends (without any provocation from me) said it was the best high they'd had in months.

Moral of the story: less likely to break through, lasts longer. Use this method for groups and if you have surplus DMT (because it is a bit wasteful, and you won't likely break through).
