DMT & Japan Quake/Tsunami

Well, as I'm sure all of you have heard, japan suffered a tragic earthquake, followed by THE GNARLIEST tsunami I've ever witnessed...It was so strong, it totally fucked with the california coast, causing millions in damage to boats, docks, etc...I live near the beach, and at the local stores, most of the employees refused to come in due to fear, so needless to say, its affected much more than japan...There is constantly the theme of human evolution and the end of the world as we know it ingrained into the dmt experience....well, here is what happened to me today...

I exhaled a HUGE hit of spice, and laid back, waiting for today's lesson...Well, I was shut out of hyperspace, and was told this was due to the approximity of prayers and souls entering hyperspace (dead/dying people from the quake/tidal wave)...I was then thrust into a catastrophic vision, in where my dog and I were running from complete chaos, and helping others to get away...I opened my eyes, back in my room, with a voice in my head that said "be prepared"

I have a grim feeling that this tragic event is one of many to come, and this comes from repeated lessons with the molecule. Has anyone else felt or experienced anything like this? A large part of me feels as if this is the beginning of the cosmic shift, one I have always known would happen, since I was a little boy..

This is serious shit...Japan is 16hours away by airplane...the waves HIT OUR COAST HERE IN LA...Our beaches were evacuated, there's been hundreds of helicopters in the air all day, about 20-30 barge ships floated into shallow waters...I can't help but feel the molecule is warning me. Anyone else?

I saw on the news a couple people from Oregon drowned trying to watch the tsunami from the shore. I'm sad they died but they have got to be eligible for a Darwin award.

Yes, destruction and tragedy are part of life. Not saying I am cold to the emotional and physical suffering those tragedies cause, I'm just pointing out destructive events have always occurred and on bigger scales than the Japan tsunami. What kind of cosmic shift do you think will occur? The earth itself was formed from rocks smashing in to each other. The universe is naturally a place filled with potential disasters.

The best we can do is offer our help to those in need. Unfortunately, it seems people only become willing to help when in the face of total devestation. Maybe we could help each other more everday.
 
regardless of what may come or in which way we may want this to be tied into a pre-determined cosmic consciousness shift... my heart goes out to those whose lives have been shattered and shaken, to those who are missing family members and friends. Instead of feeling bad about how this collective feeling and willingness to help comes only at these times I think we should use this energy to create the shift in consciousness. Let's not wait around for more horror to strike into our hearts before we change and redefine our existence.

That being said, the fukushima reactor is still worrying me, after the explosion earlier today... I hope this will not turn into a second Chernobyl.

This news has rattled me greatly and that is unusual for me. Of course it is not surprising that these things happen, but perhaps it is surprising on which level this disaster has affected me and the people around me, as though reality has suddenly sunken into their beings more deeply, and all is felt more deeply for a while. Could we not use this to open up and listen in and then offer something in return to help...? At least in spirit we can send strength and courage to those that are in need for now.

I hope we can do more eventually...

I have had many visions of a massive war in the desert. In the vision I usually see planes and tanks and heavy artillery fire. It's a psychedelic vision so it happens fast and skips around, but I have had several occasions were it sure seemed like I was being shown a massive war coming.

Of course we live in a world filled with war, and images of war on daily tv...so it could be my subconscious mind...
 
I have noticed before that major earthquakes often seem to quickly follow eachother and that makes sense since the earth is a giant jigsaw puzzle.

You cannot say that the occurence of these types of natural disasters is increasing though: the most fatal tsunami's in the history of mankind have been taking place century's ago: roughly a century ago the eruption of indonesia's largest volcano krakatau resulted in the first media-covered tsunami in history but the eruption and implosion of the greek island of santorini lead to the destruction of an entire civilisation.

It is even agrued that moses' little trick with the water has been caused by this event.
I find it plausible that a huge tsunami caused the collapse of the egyptian empire wich enabled some people, including jews to rid themselves of slavery and that somehow this translated into all kinds of myths, altering the true events somewhat here and there.

Tsunami's have always been there, like earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.

Maybe there could be some kind of cycle of seismic activity just as there is a cycle of solar activity, but i've never heard of such a thing being studied or verified.

I don't think apocalyptic feelings can truly be relied on.

In the global economy there are definately things taking place though, that are putting strains on the order of things as we know it. The uprisings in the arab-speaking world are linked to a shortage in food and other basic goods.
Worldwide economic devellopments cause a rise in scarcity of basic goods, wich constantly translates into economic crisis around the world.
It is very likely that we will all become a little poorer and have to settle for less economic means, and this translates into political unrest.
The main point is not that there are crisis, because that will always be the case. The point is that we are not so good in dealing with them.
underlying weaknesses of our economic and political systems become magnified in times of crisis.

I think it's the mind trying to make sense of the incomprehensable. Seeking patterns that aren't there.
 
One could argue that your grim foresight could be attributed to (possibly) latent fears of apocalyptic events. You point out that you've had repeated similar lessons from the molecule and this could be reflecting a fear that you have. It's natural to gravitate towards apocalyptic mentalities, especially with lots of alleged evidence pointing to any number of apocalyptic factors and scenarios. You may want to meditate on this sentiment for a while.

Poly would you flushing out your response here for me? Are you thinking it's my mind making sense of the daily images I see? Or are you thinking my mind is extrapolating to the concept of 'coming war' as a way to make sense of the visions of war that I'm being shown?
 
SET and SETTING, folks. They're synergistic, dialectical, and we all surf the interface.
SET is a complex of self-suggestion, suspicions, worries, joys, intentions, longings, health, dispositions, attention... and is fed/feeds
SETTING, including our media diet, world events, the tenor of the times...
IMHO DMT is a mystery, at times a clarifying vehicle, but it is not an oracle or a window to some literal afterlife. This post belongs more properly in Mystical/Esoteric.
Blessings and strength to all affected by the quake. As for the tsunami reaching North American shores, this is wave mechanics, not an extraordinary sign of the times.

well, i think that knowing the future is almost impossible, because even if we would assume that there for sure where something like a 6th sense, knowing that something is gonna happen would highly influence it so it is no longer sure to happen.

The exception to this rule would maybe be predictions that would make themself come true, predictions that therefore would be a perfect equilibrium with the reality they predict and the actual prediction, like a nash-equilibrium in game-theory.

But that's all theoretical.
I think something like useless wars and tsunami's cannot make sense to us on a personal level. We can talk about them intellectually, but the mere possibility that it could happen to us or that it actually realy is happening elsewhere is just incomprehensable.

We need to have an outlet for these images, so we try to make sense of these things in whatever way we can.

I also think that it realy is a very deep and important human instinct to whenever we become aware of those kind of threatening things, say to ourselves:"be prepared".
If we wouldn't have had that instinct, i don't think we would have made it out of the natural jungle into the concrete jungle. We need to prepare ourselves for everything that could potentially happen. By imagining things, watching scary movies, etc, we prepare ourselves mentally and thus rewire our brain to be able to respond properly if such things would happen to us.
