Questioning nmt quality in use:
I was wondering if I could find nmt specific documentation on effects and dosages. i understand the potency compared to dmt is around half the strength. i was also wondering how sought after nmt was, i understand most people get mimosa as its more accessible but acacia extracts usually have more grab on bm markets through internet searches. Why is this? I know mimosa has very low nmt concentrations in mimosa and around 45% concentration when looking at the psychoactive alkaloid sheets. Is Nmt a luxury item in the dmt world or a metaphorical potato as in its gonna fill your stomach but at the end of the day its a potato not a lobster.
Ratios difference in change of experience:
In my mind nmt is the cbd of dmt, its more of a mediator of kinds as its the precursor in the plant as cbd is when thc is present. I think of more mellow and calming when thinking of cbd and for nmt ive heard it contributes to more body feel and warmth. Is there a mix of nmt and dmt that people like more? Is the nmt as valuable as the dmt in the experience? What kind of thinking should I be using when thinking of mixtures? like in weed you have percentages of thc and cbd. Users report higher thc contents with very low cbd causes higher paranoia, should i be using the same line of thinking when looking at nmt dmt mixtures?
Crude isolation: (I don't have access to dry ice or enough money to buy the equipment that produces the material)
My current way that I have stumbled upon was heating the soup after basing before transferring to a mini a/b to collect higher nmt contents to not waste material. After collecting a concentration in the acid that I'm happy with i basify and it turns to milk. If you heat and cool enough times the dmt-fb will oxidize and the solution will be yellowish and you will see gunk at the top that you can not pull, this is jar-1(jar-1 has high nmt content and lower accessible dmt content). jar-2 has another acid mini a/b step ready to concentrate dmt and less nmt as jar-1 has the nmt more so, jar one should should be pulled cool as to pull the least nmt over, freeze precipitated and poured back into jar-1 until crystals no longer form in freezing conditions. The crystals are to be added to jar-2 as the increased dmt concentrations in contrast to nmt. after jar-1 no longer produces crystals, heat the soup with naphtha (no flames naphtha is highly flammable) then mix a few times, let it heat until heat is uniform in jar or will no longer increase at the temperature set (the higher the temperature the higher the solubility but higher the risk of equipment failure if you are not using higher quality equipment), once separated and at the set temp, decant into a smaller jar and let cool either at room temp or slowly in a water bath to see if crystals form. the jar should be a large part naphtha and a small part goop, the goop is mostly nmt. decant the solvent back into jar-1 and pour the goop into a wide mouth glass or a glass rectangle container, run a fan over for speed(optional but recomended) and the goop will start to bubble in a fun way as the naphtha escapes, chop up to increase surface area and increase drying speeds. then the nmt is there. dmt is to be pulled as normal (jar-2 is to complete the remaining re-ex step [turn basic and add solovent]) then you have crudely isolated nmt and dmt with high low concentrations for both and can mix as you please.
The correct way to do this is to add crushed dry ice to the naptha pull this creates nmt carbamate that crashes out and leaves the dmt alone, you decant once settled then add the remaining bit with the settled nmt carbamade into a basic water wash to convert into nmt and co2 then pull with solovent as you would or with heat to speed up the process.
