Drum and Bass / Jungle music

I haven't been listening to dnb for years now, but back when I used to, my usual favorites were C&C, Black Sun Empire, Mejfus, and Audio. Recently I saw they turned one of my favorite tracks into an orchestral piece and it slaps hard:

And of course one of the best tracks by Audio is timeless as always:

I had this complicated relationship with dnb that was expressed in me choosing to listen only neurofunk-based tracks (i.e. about as hard and nasty as this genre gets). I suppose that was a product of the fact that during the time I was listening to dnb, I was also heavily using various substances :ROFLMAO:

Wow that was epic! I never expected to hear orchestral drum n bass, but they crushed it.

Western Lore based outta Bristol has rolled out some quality plates.
Awesome, I really like this kinda vibe/sound. Here's a playlist I just found...

Tim Reaper has been making an absolute killing out there, definitely stay up to date with this guy's releases if you enjoy Deep Jungle.
Love it. Thanks for the recommendation!

Up until pretty recently, the only jungle artist I really listened to was Congo Natty, who remains among my favorite producers. I think he may be somewhat unique in terms of fully roots-ifying jungle. I also really like the stuff his daughter, Kaya Fyah, has been putting out...

As a dj, I used to spin jungle/drum'n'bass from end 90's til about 2010. Here is kind of stuff I used to play :

Skeptical - Cold One

Dj Hidden - Draw In

Ed Rush & Optical - Bacteria

Ed Rush & Optical - Sick Note

Morphy - Uptown Special

Jonny L - Moving Thru Air

John B - Pressure

E-Z Rollers - Synesthesia (Dom & Roland RMX)

Optical - To Shape The Future (Remix)

and the one which started my interest for the genre :
Goldie - Inner City Life

Of all the great shares in this thread, I would say that Dead Man's Chest has resonated the most for me. I especially like the (roots reggae) sample-heavy sounding production. The Trilogy album sounds like (Entroducing-era) DJ Shadow and King Tubby blended with dusty jungle beats, which hits hard...
