Hi

I've been using a disposable vape pen - it ran out pretty quickly - I am not sure how much was in it.

I am thinking of making my own vape pen but [MOD EDIT: NO BUYING/SELLING TALK. Please read the Attitude page.] I am a bit concerned about blasting through another vape pen really quickly.

I have bought a new Vape Mod to use - its a sub ohm one which will allow for a lot of vape....

So I am thinking how can I stop myself going through my powder/juice too fast?

Firstly I can dilute the ratio to say 1:4 (I was initially gonna go 1:1).

Secondly, I assume on these vape pens you only use what you drag out? I don't want to blast off into hyperspace with one drag anyway as I prefer to go lighter. So I could restrict my usage by not taking in huge drags?

At the end of the day you only use what you use I guess? i.e. if I made the juice stronger I would need less drags.

I also want to experiment with MAOI so I want to make my drags less strong to have more control.

You've answered your own questions correctly as far as I can see. 1:4 is on the weaker end of things for a sub ohm coil, but should still give you effects without having to drag too much or risk losing reality when you don't want to.

Going through it too fast might also indicate that you're overheating the coil and decomposing the DMT, so start low with the power and raise it bit by bit until you get the amount of vapour you need. Try to keep your drag rate even during this calibration period as that affects the performance of the coil vs power too. It's always best to only vary one thing at a time when testing :)
