Want to walk down easy street while infusing cannabis? Worried its very difficult? HAVE NO FEAR FLUFFERUS IS HERE!

I just whipped up a batch tonight, and i figured ide write down my easy method for anyone that is overthinking cannabis oil infusion. Been cooking cannabis for 15 years.
This recipe can be altered to be 50/50 coconut oil and olive oil, i prefer to do that way so it all stays liquid at room temp (72f). It only needs 20% olive oil to stay liquid. If you have good bud say 28% and use the whole 40g, this will yield 1 liter of cannabis infused oil that contains about 10,000 mg of thc, 150mg per tablespoon, or nicely, 10mg per ml! its pretty much an alcohol free tincture if you add the olive oil to make it liquid.

If you haven't infused on this stove or with this particular pot before, i recommend adding oil to the pot and seeing what the temp maxes out at on the level 2 knob setting, just so you don't accidentally ruin your infusion by going over 300f. You can also add an extra half hour cooking time for an extra sleepy edible cannabis oil. This will decrease overall potency.

Can swap the coconut oil for butter, use the same amount. Can also add soy lichen to increase the bio-availability of the cannabis infusion.

MATERIALS: candy thermometer, small pot that can at least hold 1L, 1 small liter jar of refined coconut oil, 40 grams of cannabis, 1 hour of your time
OPTIONAL: metal funnel, small mesh strainer. obviously could do this with 20g of cannabis and 500ML oil, or 10g cannabis with 250ML oil also.

Get all the coconut oil out of the jar and into the pot, i like to put stove on max to get it heated up quick while i get my whole nugs ready to toss in. once candy thermometer reads 200 turn stove down to medium low, 2-3 on the knob. Wait for the oil to get about 250-275 then...

Toss all the bud in, make sure its all saturated.

Make sure the oil's temp tops out around 275f, any higher is risky. My stove ends up on the 1 and a half setting.

We will cook for 45 mins, no need to decarb, as the heat will decarb it while infusing.

VERY IMPORTANT Make sure to "swirl and tilt" the oil around in the pot, like your panning for gold. Do this frequently, like every 5 minutes. You should hear it sizzle and see a few bubbles. About 30 mins in the bubbles will slow down or disappear.

Once it has been 40-45 mins, pull the pot off the stove, and let it cool to around 100f. Can pop it in the freezer to cool it faster, takes like 5-10mins. If you have a funnel and strainer, choose a container you like and pour + strain into the container. If not using the optionals, gently pour the pot into your vessel of choice carefully, using a fork to block the nugs from tumbling into the final receptacle. This oil will stay good for eternity kept out of direct light.

And there you have it, quick, easy, potent coconut cannabis oil :) BONG APPÉTIT. Use in any edible recipe that requires oil, or can be eaten straight up.
<ESSENTIAL>>(drink a cup of whole milk with it for boost, or eat sum C H E E Z)<<ESSENTIAL>

I forgot to add a cleanup step to this, and if you added any olive oil this will not work. so this only helps with pure coconut or butter. i guess it might work if you only added a little bit of coconut oil, like less than 20% but results may vary.

Add the now infused and strained coconut oil or butter to a pot, and fill about half the volume with water. boil this for abit, like 5 mins then you can use the same pot if it fits, or transfer to a big enough bowl and stick in freezer so it seperates.

you dont want to let it sit in the freezer for so long that the water freezes, you just want the butter or coconut oil to harden, and then discard the now green water. this will help immensley with the grass taste, and can be repeated until the water no longer turns green.

I use an oven thermometer since they are cheap as chips. I decarb ground bud (no oil) on a tray at 230F for around 40 minutes. Then I put it into a little pyrex bowl with some oil in the oven for another 30 min to infuse at 230F. Squeeze out and save the oil. add more oil, and bake/infuse for 45 minutes or so at 260-275F.

In other other words, I get what I can out at a lower temp, being cautious. Then infuse again at the higher temp. The oven thermometer is absolutely necessary since ovens vary and yet is very inexpensive.

yeah you cant go above 312f i think or else the thc starts to get destroyed, so 275f is a safe temperature (y) i get it though you wanting to infuse at a lower temp :)

alotta folks believe in the low and slow simmer for infusing cannabis, and that works just fine. i prefer to do it abit quicker though, no 12h crockpots for me!

i have done it that way though many times, i dont find much of a difference. i know thats not what you recommended, but just giving an example.

yeah i love my candy thermometer, they are about $2 cant beat it!

though since i know my oven and pots well now, i could easily do the infusion without a thermometer
