And BTW, what´s Your qualification? PHD in QP @ MIT?

bufoman said:Yea brian is slang for brain. It is because I type fast and my comp spell check does not differentiate between them.
Qualifications-- nothing to do with physics but I have read a lot about QM. It is a very fascinating science and has relations to consciousness. I am a neuropharmacologist. I never claimed to know everything but I would admit the things I do not understand (which is alot) QM especially the math is extremely complex.
As a Lawyer told me once, I have such good credentials because I choose my battles. So I only get into things I know about. Look I don't know if I come off as an asshole, but this is not my intention, I just want people in our community to be better informed and critical. I enjoy conversations on this website and have learned a lot. People have to realize that there are scientifically oriented people on this website. We are conditioned to be very skeptical and to know how to access truthful information about a topic quickly. So if people begin making claims they are going tested. People say shgit (slang for shit) all the times they do not know for sure. Then others see it and assume it is true because everyone believes it.

bufoman said:Benzyme I think you are just misunderstanding QM, I am not trying to be mean or imply you are stupid this is not the case, but QM is observation. Theory has evolved to explain these observations but the observations themselves are not theory.
it does, the closer you get to the nucleus, because of how rapidly the particles move. they appear as waves, thus the skepticism of the Bohr theory, and acceptance of the heisenberg uncertainty principle..Also the wave/particle duality does not behave at all how you suggested.

( I am generally curious. )
Well I am glad you are open, this is an important trait for anyone who wants to discover the truth about any system.

Your a bit off in you understanding of the word solipsism.Philosophy calls this solipsism. Brain can not be blamed for everything, it is just organ as every else, with incomparably more nerves than any other. Recently bought small encyclepaedia ´bout brain, but it´s so boring
It is actually the belief that a persons mind (& only that person's mind) is the only "real" thing in existence.
As in, a god-complex. "My thoughts are the only thing I know exists for sure, so I must be responsible for creating all of this world around me?!?"
Quite the sickness, and not even close to what Bufoman. & others are trying to explain to you.
The brain doesn't create or control the world around you at all, but without your brain to read & interpret the sensory data, it would be like trying to read a book written in another language. The information is all there, it just doesn't mean anything until it is decoded into your language.
Ever have a DMT experience where everything is just moving & changing way to fast (more than normal) to take any of it in & make any kind of sense out of it? Where your seeing visions but as soon as you "look" at it, its already changed into & out of 1,000,000 other things. For me when that kind of experience happens I get very uncomfortable & confused as to where/when/who I am, until things begin to slow down & subside.
Ever have a CD get stuck on "fast-forward", while in "Random Playback" mode?
What you hear is the random jumping from bit-to-bit over the entire CD (instead of just one song like normal), which makes no sense as your brain tries to logically tie the quick bursts of information back together, but none of it fits together correctly so what you perceive is a jumbled mess of sounds that confuses & disorientates you mind.
?!?!?WTF?!?!?Still think DMT an reality 2 scape in.
OK, I think I'm done trying here....brickwall...

quantum physics obeys no laws. completely violates the laws of general physics
(so there are more than 4 dimensions)
it's pure theory as well. even the language of math (which is really just probability math) is inadequate to completely describe it
