First time extraction, need help getting decent yields

So first timer here, I followed Cybs hybrid atb salt tek all at room temp but now I'm having trouble getting bigger yields. Im getting maybe a few mg at a time, is there anything else I can do to get some decent yields going? Anything is much appreciated

A few mg from how much bark? The standard 100 g? Ideally, if you can tell us exactly what you've done - described in your own words - and what materials you've used, it'll be a whole lot easier to troubleshoot your situation.

I used 100 g mhrb, added 200 ml and 60 ml vinegar after boiled, shook it like crazy and let sit for an hour.
Then I boiled 50 g salt and another 250 ml distilled water and poured that into the mix. Then I added 50 g lye to 200 ml water to the mix and topped off with another 140 ml of water. I shook it gently on an off for about 2 hours. After, I measured out 60 ml of naptha and poured into mix. I let soak for 1 hour and then rolled it around for another hour and repeated four times after it separated.
I let that sit for a day and then added it to my dish. The substance was milky, covered it with foil and let freeze for about 24 hours.
I removed the excess naptha added it back to my jars and then let it evaporate for a while.

Now I did have another pull today and its been my biggest yet. This morning I took a glass stirrer and stirred the soup for several minutes and then rolled the jar upside down and horizontally very slowly. Idk if that helped but I do have a hell of a lot more now.

As a bit of a Yard-stick, from approx 125g MHRB with a bit of a bodged up, lazy-ass extraction all at room temp I did, I got 1.32g NN DMT, I did 3 pulls with Naphtha, the freezer dishes never look like there is much in them but once dry it scraped up into a decent looking pile of powder. Enough for me to experiment making Changa and mix myself some fresh vape juice up.

I was able to blastoff the other night but I wish I had saved it. Its about the same for me though. I am drying now and it looks a hell of a lot more promising this time around. Definitely trying to make some vape juice with this batch. Fingers crossed

I'm guessing you meant to say 200 mL water? Otherwise, that's a lot of vinegar! 60 mL is also a fair amount - unless you're using particularly alkaline tap or well water - and certainly enough to ensure whatever amount of DMT is present will remain protonated until the lye gets added. That amount of vinegar corresponds to roughly 3.15 g of acetic acid (if it's the usual 5% acid) which requires about 2.1 g NaOH for neutralisation, so you've definitely added enough lye.

Something to bear in mind is that transfer of DMT from the base soup to the naphtha occurs via the interface of the two phases. This means that the mixing is far more important than the waiting times, [unless you're waiting for the naphtha to separate - although, arguably, while wait time may allow for DMT to diffuse out of the plant material a little more, you've already done the acid boil which takes care of that.] Anyhow, the promising results from your second pull appear to have illustrated the importance of good mixing already

I definitely appreciate the reply and the knowledge! I think im starting to figure it all out and I think after my next batch I'll have refined it with better results. The pics are of my 3rd,4th, and 5th pulls. I think I can still milk out a bit more the next few days but we shall see. The process has been awesome and I definitely have exceeded my expectations like crazy.

I am not going to lye I will tumble so many times in order to use less solvent. I'll tumble a jar (or a few), walk away and do stuff, come back and do it again, repeat. Seems to work out well in maximizing yields per pull. There is certainly an upper-limit before this isn't helpful anymore, as certain solvents can only hold so much DMT, but I have no idea how to figure that out.

That's one thing ive definitely been trying to do for sure and it got better once I started doing so. I hope I can eventually figure that one out too haha. I'm still extremely green with all of this so learning on the fly and picking up different tid bits of information has really helped out. I definitely appreciate all the replies and info. You're definitely getting there!

Be assured, this parts really quite simple in terms of practical execution once you've grasped a few fundamental principles. How was your first trial of the product, and what kind of ROA were you using?

Maybe that will help you to visualise the extraction processes more easily

Hahaha I'm trying! And it definitely seems to be that way. I think next time I may skip the vinegar, lower the NaOH, and add heat.
So Im making a cart with this but my first time I actually freebased it and it was BRUTAL. Other than that it was a very very good experience although it was only 4 minutes in duration. I left this dimension. A kaleidoscopic lava lamp, bringht reds, purples, and whites that turned into what looked like a native dancing. I did open my eyes once and it looked like I was in a box within a box that was in another box. It had this shower glass type look to it as well. So I would say it worked well, but the rest of my product will be going to making it into a juice.

Of course I will! Now it seems fairly easy compared to this process but im about to find some more info on here before I try to execute it.
I have not and at first I almost forgot I posted here but I've been exploring the forum since last night and I'm really glad to be here.
