Hello. I have found that Blue Lotus offers a very, VERY, tiny, itty-bitty, small whisper of a Bufo experience. So small, that you wonder if you're just imagining it. So small, that you would miss it if you weren't consciously paying attention to your imagination or if you didn't create a meditative container for the experience.

My goal is to increase creativity, imagination, and connection to the subconscious though flowers, all while keeping the conscious mind intact.
I've found tea has been a great way to do this, but I'd love to know how ya'll use plants and flowers to increase your creativity.

Also, any suggestions on a plant or flower stronger than Blue Lotus with a more psychedelic effect? 🌼

Hi there and welcome!

By "Bufo", do you mean toad venom, which is predominantly a 5-MeO-DMT experience, or are you referring to bufotenin (5-OH-DMT) from something like yopo seeds? The two are markedly different.

I'm guessing it's probably the former on account of the euphoriant effects of lotus. Do you have much experience with other psychedelic or otherwise psychoactive substances? I guess female cannabis flowers are one of the classics and can get pretty trippy in their own way - but I expect you probably already knew that  They're not particularly suited to brewing with water either, but a nicely made tincture can be added to something like milk for the latter's emulsifying effect (as recently discussed in another thread).

Other flowers with traditional use include thinds like brugmansia and datura, but they're deliriants rather than psychedelics as well as being downright dangerous. Hence we encourage neither their use nor its discussion for the most part.

There are various species of salvia which display a variety of effects in their flowers - but again, the brewing of tea isn't necessarily the most effective method of usage.

Interesting question - I wonder what ideas other folks might come up with?
