How bad is foam?
I'm doing Shaggy's Jungle tek and was wondering if my toluene gets all cloudy should I chuck it or continue with the tek as normal?
I was separating beautifully and thinking "hey look! no foam!" so I got cocky and started swinging the thing around. Then I learnt my lesson foam is very bad.
but how bad is it really?
Can't I dump the mix in my sep funnel after pulling the toluene off the top? And drain it back into the Carlo Rossi bottle just before the foam?
If my toluene is cloudy, how much does that matter?
Don't all the impurities get washed away by the heptane/bestine anyway?
