Following xylene with naptha...?

Migrated topic.

I've been using Q21Q21's tek pulling with naptha for a while now, getting those nice white and fluffy crystals, and with all these photos and threads about jungle spice, I decided I'd try finishing the tek with some xylene.

Stupidly and hastily, I decided I'd try to use the only bulb baster I could find, which was plastic, and this type of plastic was in absolute disagreement with xylene. It was ridiculous and I'm just hoping that my final product isn't destroyed. So, obviously I'll have to get either a glass or metal baster.

Now, onto the heart of the matter... Since I prepared this batch and already used xylene on it, is going back and using naptha for some pulls and freeze precipitations an option? I know that it can be done the other way around, since salting can be done with naptha. But since freeze precip. can't be done with xylene, would the presence of some xylene in the naptha pull present a problem? A drastic loss in yield?

Anyone know?
