For FAQ's Sake...

Migrated topic.
well, its pretty straight forward actually.its rather time consuming , but if you make a bigger batch they will last you long time. and you can choose what you want as your end product. salt precipitated harmala HCL (Manske) for oral use such as pharmahuasca, or freebase is the other alternative. in any way if you filter properly and you repeat the last steps at least twice, you will have very clean and potent harmala alkaloids. try it, after the brewing the fun starts for me..

remedios is going to make changa, he needs some help for figuring how to put this in scale

25 grams MHRB, going to make DMT acetate
50 grams caapi, hoping to make an ethanol resin
various herbs for the base

He wants to know how much changa he could make with those quantities, he has ethanol, IPA, acetone, xylene, and naptha

so basically he has no idea about yeilds or measuring doses etc.

Hi, I am sure you could find all the info you are looking for somewhere here on the Nexus

I personally follow this "tek":
(1) boil grounded seeds in a slightly acidic water (vinegar) for 20-30 minutes
(2) decant, filter, save the water
(3) repeat the boil twice with new acidic water
(3) combine all 3 water pulls, reduce by boiling it down to a "managable" size;
the size of about 50ml / 1 shot works for me (no problem swallowing this amount)

Hi all. This is my first post. :) a friend of mine was wondering about the ammonia wash and if it is necessary? what is in it prior to the wash that can hurt you(if anything)? Any input would be greatly appreciated,😁

the ammonia wash is not recommended...

a simple sodium carbonate wash is more than adequate to remove any traces of lye/rootbark that may remain... this should help... that FAQ is pretty damn amazing...

good luck!

Thanks! Please forgive my friend's ignorance she wants to know if any lye/rootbark could possibly be in the yellow powder? she was careful not to get any of the lower solution in the collection jars.

Hello friends!
this site is amzing..thanks so much to the gurus that be! i've looked and can't find so i'll ask..after 1st pull w naptha using noman's w/ 100g mhrb SWIM noticed it was a lil murky, put it in freezer anyway, the next day, after precip, there were the regular white snow globes on the jar's sides but on the jar's bottom, there were regular snow globes sitting on top of this yellow flakey stuff. what is the stuff? was it too much base solution in that 1st pull that separated out in the freezer? (subsequent pulls were normal) and, is this stuff consumable?
thanks for the help and please pardon me if i've asked an often asked question.

Safe travels

Hi,

im gonna be doing the quite popular noman tek and ive read it needs "1,5-2x the amount of water with pre powered bark".
First i wanna know...why is that? I dont really understand :)
Second, do i have to add more lye also if i use 1500ml water instead of 750ml ?

thanks already

p.s. hope i dont seem like an annoying spammer but ive also posted in the official help thread ( official extraction help thread - FAQ - All your basic questions and answers - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus ) and got no reply yet. I just feel like its easy to miss that thread. No offense!
