Hello everyone!! I am extremely new to this, as a matter of fact haven’t even done it yet, I like doing the research before trying anything. I must say that I am very lost, I would love to try DMT but have no idea what plant has it or what to do or how to get it or anything. If anyone out there has any advice that can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.

You can check the STB teks available in the wiki.

Probably the simplest and fastest proper STB tek is Lazyman's Tek.

Hello, no worries, everyone starts there. Just make a big fat bookmark in the Nexus Wiki, link in the upper right corner. And read a lot. You should start with the DMT Brief Overview, then work your way from there.

i appreciate the input Vodsel, but from what ive read a lot of people have complaints about the lazymans tek, and i think it requires for one to evap naphtha....i cant evap anything i reside in an apartment and i dont have a backyard/patio. so i cant have the place smellin like $h!t. i need somethin i can just stick in the freezer for a day or 3 and get xtals. also can anyone give me an answer real quick for a question ive got?i performed the simple stb pictorial tek, guess i shook the jugs too hard (shook em pretty violently) and when i decanted the naphtha it was dark, performed two sodium carbonate solution washes to the dark naphtha. cleared it up to a honey color. after placing the naphtha in the freezer for 18 hrs the darkness settled at the bottom leaving the naphtha lookin like piss. i then transfered the yellow naphtha to different fp vessels and when i did that i noticed that in the dark sludge there was a lot of xtals. i know what xtals look like, and im pretty sure you all know too.

So im not mistaken and i aint trippin, theres def xtals in there. i then poured the dark sludge into a funnel lined with a coffee filter, i squeezed all the liquid out and inside the filters remained a peanut butter lookin paste. i tried drying it in front of a hotel ac, but that didnt work so well. the xtals were all goopy and $h!t. so i stuck the peanut butter mass inside a coffee filter and placed it in the freezer. now its pretty solid and looks like a peanut butter chocolate bar. my question is, can i recrystallize this? the frozen paste weighs 10.3 gs and i know theres spice in there i can smell it (that floral dmt scent, yknow what im talkin bout) id rly appreciate it if someone can answer ASAP. thanks nexus community

Snozzleberry, its not that i dont think i cant fp the naphtha used for the lazymans tek. if im not mistaken the tek calls for one to evap the naphtha till its reduced to a shot glass worth of liquid, i cant do that cuz of my living conditions. so if i were to perform the lazymans tek could i just stick the decanted naphtha in the freezer for 1-3 days and xtals would appear? and yes i know but i do not have internet access at home atm, and can only be online thru my phone so when i get access to a computer i will get on it man

cool i might try the lazymans tek. and also id prefer no a/b procedures. id prefer stb, i dont wanna bother boiling stuff. i know that if you spend more time doin what yr supposed to be doin will result with better outcomes but i want somethin that can be done quick and no a/b. so whats up with the dmt paste, can anyone answer that and let me know if i can re-x the paste, cuz like i mentioned before that $h!t smells like spice therefore theres obviously spice innit.

You can always re-x an impure product, yes. STB is fine.

I know this has been said before but please avoid saying "shit" and stuff like this, even if you hide it with symbols. Might seem like nitpicking but as our attitude say, we really want to keep a less slang-ish and more mature kind of atmosphere here, so it helps to not refer to DMT or things as "shit".

BTW, it might not be your case but it seems from your post to imply you're doing the extraction in a place where others cannot know about what you are doing, and if that is the case, we REALLY recommend you do not do this, also as our attitude page says, because it puts you and everybody else around you (And the owner of the house) in legal danger.

So i can pretty much re-x that dmt paste is what yr saying, right? and i resorted to calling the paste 'shit' for lack of a better word. (my mind isnt as sharp as it was, i used to be a dxm junkie. not an addict cuz i could do well without it but i did it everyday cuz it was fun, and i used to consume mdma a lot as well) when i cant think of a word to describe somethin on the spot i resort to profanity. nasty habit i know, but theres worse. also i live in an apartment where my gf is anti-drug. shes out of town for the moment so i figured id whip up some spice cuz its been almost a year since ive had any before she comes back. i hadnt extracted spice in a while cuz i just dont wanna get in an arguement over this, knowing her shed blow it out of proportion and make a big deal and leave our home...she could even leave me...cant have that happening. anyway thank you for all the help ive been provided thus far

It'll almost certainly have no noticeable loss in potency. I think it may depend on purity, I guess if you have super pure crystal it will be less stable than some waxy jimjam. I leave jimjam lying around in open air for weeks and never notice any difference. I've never had anything pure enough that I feel the need to shield it from light or put it in the freezer or anything.

so im from a small area and the only source for proper naptha is the one canadian tire in town. they only sell 220ml bottles which is annoying considering I usually make a 6 month or so supply for me and friends at a time. Would it be possible to use toulene which is easily available at a much better price and just wash the red spice I get at the end? Are yields of 1% achievable for this and would it be a good idea to use a mixture of solvents? maybe half toulene and half xylene?

Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

Hey guys. New to this.... having a hard time figuring out a good alternative to naphtha. following the easy extraction tek v1.1, have a lb of acacia aribica... couldn't find Mimosa... and how much naphtha would be needed for 450 grams. Could I use lighter fluid also? I'm going to test the evap on it tmrw. The tek being used is from live-leak.

Their are lots of alternatives to using naptha, and you could use lighter fluid as long as the evap test goes well it should be fine. I'd use around 100ml then evaporated down to half it volume and freeze. I'd also recommend you check outNoman's Tek here on our Wiki it is very easy to follow and works great. Although it is a mimosa based tek the basic principles should translate over. You could check out the extraction thread and see what else you could find on your own.

BUD DON"T USE THAT TEK!
It is total garbage just avoid it all together. Some of the basic and fundamental principles of DMT extraction are broken...It is not "okay" to get some Lye in with your naptha, and you don't need 2L of naptha either. *sigh*
wanna know where to start read this then choose a Tek from OUR wiki they are much safer, easier to understand, and all work great.
If I was personally in your position I would be looking in to Lextek.

Don't know if this is already answered but I noticed that the posts don't immediately show up at the top of the list of posts for awhile after being posted. I was wondering if there's a usual time for them to show up?
