(FREEZE PRECIPITATION) Using a jar and being able to get all the crystals easily.

Instead of putting it into a baking dish and then scraping the crystals, will it work if i use a jar. The jar will be upside down in the freezer so that all the crystals form on the lid and around the top of the jar. It will be easier to scrape off. Will this work, i see no reason why it won't.

It would work, but the problem is that the lid's material could be problematic to scrape with razorblade.
Another (Easier) way is to just redissolve the crystals in acetone and pour them to another container

i use small canning jars bout 4 inches tall with about 4 inch mouth
