Fumarate to Freebase convension question

Greetings wonderful people!!
Hope y'all fine and doin well

Doing some experiments with Dmt and Dmt fumarate in my kitchen and wanted to ask a question.

In Fumarate to Freebase convension TEK's, Type 3 - Sodium Carbonate Paste and Pull method
Is it possible to use Naptha instead of Acetone in any way, to pull Dmt from Sodium Carbonate powder?

Yes, but the naphtha might not penetrate paste so well if the latter is too dry. You may be better off making a solution of the fumarate in water, then adding saturated SC solution before doing the naphtha pulls. Keep the volume of naptha low and crash out the DMT base in the freezer for maximum purity.

If you prefer to maximise yield, evaporate the naphtha - but only after first ascertaining that the naphtha itself evaporates cleanly. Freeze precipitation leaves a small proportion of the DMT in solution in the cold naphtha. @Brennendes Wasser produced some useful data on this.

+1 for treating it like a normal extraction. It leaves more impurities behind in the water IME.
