Lobsters are decapods - a perfect use-case for the metric system - so I think it's unfair to involve them in this.

1 mile = 8 furlongs

It may be necessary to securely stretch something (food wrap/clingfilm) over the bowl to prevent damage or injury on occasions where the marble might fly out at high velocity. You have been warned! If you don't apply this safety precaution, wear PPE and stay away from windows. But do give it a try - it's kind of like 'singing bowl meets wall-of-death'
